Story
his name is Enzo. He’s black-and-white. He’s a four year-old male pit. I’m not sure what he’s mixed with. He’s my daughter‘s dog. She can’t afford to take care of him or provide the loving care and attention that he needs. We’re moving and I would like to find a nice home for him. He’s been the only dog he’s not around other dogs. He’s house trained has never been caged. Kind of run free plays in the backyard. Hasn’t really been around a lot of people besides family.

Story
Hello. My name is Max. I just turned 2 years old. My mom adopted me from Huron Valley Humane Society. I was very shy and scared. When I got home, it took 3 days before I would leave my room. I need a new home that will love, play and snuggle with me. I am playful, cute and adorable with my pouty bottom (underbite) lip and nub tail. I love playing with my sister as she chases me outside and love playing tug of war. I can be somewhat reactive (got it from my sister). I bark at strange people and dogs that walk past our house. Walks are okay but sometimes a challenge when other dogs are barking at me. My sister is the only dog I have been around. I have not been to the vet this year but was seen last year. No health issues.

Story
Fannie Lou Hamer is a 6yo leap year dog, born February 29, 2020. She is very very VERY energetic and loves to play. She LOVES other dogs, children, and men. Her favorite things to do are play dates, cuddles, car rides, walks, and runs. She also answers to the nicknames “puppy” and “snickerdoodle”. Her favorite snack in the entire world is popcorn. She is spayed and chipped. I am rehoming her due to me becoming ill and disabled. I can not care for her in the way she deserves. But for that, I would keep her forever. I would prefer she go to a home with a large fenced in yard and children and/or other dogs. She has a big personality and is smarter than the average dog (others have commented on it often).Unfortunately, due to my illness I have not yet had her vaccinated this year as she usually goes in April and I was hospitalized and had emergency lung surgery during her appointment time and have not been well enough to reschedule it yet. I am looking to remain in her life if possible.

Story
Norman is a great dog. He will be 10 in November. He lived many years as an outdoor farm dog with my parents, and has now been an indoor dog with my family for the last 3 years. He’s been in our family all 10 years of his life, so we want to make sure he goes to a good family that will take care of him. He has always been very shy around new people, but once he is comfortable with you, he loves attention! He has always been great with kids and all animals - donkeys, chickens, goats, dogs, cats. He has never shown any signs of aggression. He is starting to get older so he does rest a lot. He really is such a good boy.

Story
We adopted Nellie from a Detroit dog rescue when she was roughly 7 months old, after being rescued off of the streets. Due to her unknown past, she unfortunately does not do well with other dogs and is best suited being the only dog in the house. She loves walks, car rides, boat rides, sunbathing and snuggles on the couch.
