Story
Ebony is a playful, energetic, sweet 1 year old 30lb girl. She is house trained, doesn’t chew anything except the toys given to her, and is very well emotionally regulated as in she does not bark upon separation (Doggy gold medal!). My kids love her. She likes to greet by standing on hind legs and putting paws on you. Originally from Indiana, she made her way to NYC through Best Friends adoption clinic. Ambiguous language in the lease on pets plus wishful thinking apparently don’t mix and landlord said no. We live in the outskirts of nyc so I felt we would have been an ideal placement however she is anxious around any loud street noises from delivery truck, garbage truck, lawn mowers, etc. Despite our neighborhood being relatively quiet by NYC standards it is still a bit much on her. She was placed on anti anxiety med while being fostered in downtown Manhattan (loud noises) so adopter needs to consult with vet to taper them down if needed.

Story
Meet Hudson! Hudson is a happy, resilient boy ready for his forever home. He was found dumped in an industrial park, injured and underweight, but his loving personality never wavered. He has come a long way and is now healthy and thriving. Hudson is a big snuggle bug who loves sleeping in bed with his people. He adores treats, enjoys tug of war, and gently cobs his favorite stuffy toys until he falls asleep. He loves music, especially jazz and classical, which calm him instantly. His tongue almost always sticks out, paired with very expressive side eyes. Hudson knows sit, has learned down, walks well on leash, and is a quick learner. He still has a puppy temperament and will need training to learn not to jump, as he does not always know his size. He also doesn't know how to climb stairs yet. He does well with small dogs and cats but is likely too excitable for small children. Hudson is potty trained, neutered prior to adoption, vaccinated, no adoption fee. Transport help available.

Meet Pinto 💕 Pinto (also known as Pina, the sweet, feminine twist we use in her foster home) is a young, resilient little girl who’s already been through more than her fair share, yet she remains one of the most affectionate, trusting, and people‑loving pups you’ll ever meet. She melts into cuddles, seeks out warmth, and proudly claims the title of snugglebug in her foster home. She’s also playful, energetic, smart, and tenacious, with a goofy spark that makes her endlessly fun to be around. And yes — her world revolves around food. Treats, training snacks, mealtime… she’s motivated, focused, and absolutely delighted by anything edible. Despite her tough start, Pinto’s heart is wide open. She loves deeply, trusts quickly, and is ready for a family who will celebrate her sweetness, her spirit, and her incredible resilience.

Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org. Meet Millie 🐾 Millie is a happy, energetic puppy with the biggest heart. She loves to play and is great at keeping herself busy as long as she has fun toys around. She is very food motivated, so will work hard for treats. Millie didn’t have much training before coming into foster, but she’s been learning quickly! She is an even tempered puppy who is eager to please, which is a recipe for great progress. She doesn't get into the usual puppy trouble: she doesn't chew on things that aren't toys or bones. The potty training is the only thing that reminds us that she is only 4 months old! Potty training has been improving too — she does much better going outside than using pee pads, and we currently take her out every 2-2 1/2 hours. She’s met lots of family members over the holidays, other dogs, and even cats, and she’s done wonderfully with everyone. Millie isn’t really scared of much and approaches the world with confidence and curiosity. At her core, she’s a total love bug and is happiest snuggled up on the couch with her people. She loves a good belly rub and is very affectionate. She’ll benefit from continued training, but Millie is truly an amazing pup who will make a loving, joyful addition to any family. P.S. She snores when she sleeps, and it’s so adorable!

She’s the kind of pup who melts into you during snuggle time—soft, cozy, and perfectly content just being close. Whether she’s bouncing around for playtime or curling up for a cuddle session, Snickerdoodle is pure joy in puppy form. If you’re looking for a loving little best friend who’s equal parts fun and affectionate, she’s your girl.
