Handsome Ringo! This 3 month old boy from Puerto Rico is searching for a home 🏠 he does well with people and other dogs! He hasn’t been around cats but would probably want to play. He sleeps through the night and is working on house breaking. He is playful and loving and ready to find his happily ever after!! We don’t know his breed mix, but we think he’ll be around 40/50 ish lbs when full grown. Apply via www.nyshar.org/applications

Story
We found Lucy goosey on a side street by our home in 2020. By the looks of it she was nursing at the time she was found.Took her to the shelter and adopted her within a week. Lucy is such a sweet girl. In 2024 we had a baby and have another dog. Although she does well with the baby, having two dogs is super stressful for me. Walking, feeding and grooming both dogs with the baby has been really overwhelming. Daily coat and teeth brushing, walking twice a day and keeping her active is just impossible for me at the moment. Lucy is a butterball of silliness and loves to cuddle even if you don’t want to lol! She’s estimated 6 years old.We love her so much.
