Story
Zeus is a good boy. We got him from a shelter about 3 yrs ago. We had twins(wasnt planned), and he is just too high energy and big. He has been great with all my kids, but his size and energy makes us nervous. He loves to be loved. He’s friendly with our other dog, but does try to take all the attention. He’s a very loving dog. With room to run and someone to love him, he will flourish.

Story
This is Paris, she is 2 years old, she is very smart. I rescued her from a shelter a few months ago. It seems she’s had a traumatic life before me, she really is a great dog. House trained, and leash trained and loves to play. Unfortunately she is dog reactive, I am in college so everything is good when I am up here, but I have three family dogs back home so it makes it extremely difficult because she just won’t get along with my family dogs. I have looked into finding a trainer for her but like I said I am a college student and I don’t have the means to support that. I am not able to give her the life she deserves and that’s s what I am looking for, someone who can give her the life she deserves. She is good around kids as I have had her around my 4 year old cousins and they had great fun together. This has been a difficult decision but I think it’s best she finds a home with a yard to run around in and a family who has no other dogs and is looking to take one in.

Story
Monty is about 2.5 years old. We adopted him from a shelter about 8 months ago. He is a love bug. He loves to be outside, especially on sunny days. He likes exploring the woods. Loves to play tug of war, wrestling, chase, etc. He needs someone who is able to give him lots of play time. He loves kids, but does not know personal space. He needs a kid familiar with dogs and their behaviors. He just wants to give all the love he can, and loves to receive all the affection you can give.

Story
This is Atlas and he’s had a really rough life. We received Atlas around a month ago due to people I knew trying to put him down. I seen first hand the situation he was in and it wasn’t good. So with that being said Atlas is reactive and doesn’t do well with small dogs or dogs that aren’t fixed. He’s very cuddly and sweet and loves to play with toys and go on walks. With his reactivity I do think he would be best in a home with one big dog or no dogs at all and no children or cats. He has bit me when he was stressed out and coming home from the vet. I was unaware of the issues and ignored his warning signs which did cause him to bite me. Atlas deserves a chance at a good life so someone with experience would need to have him. For any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll answer them with the knowledge I do have on him.

Story
Meet Sandy! She is super super, sweet, LOVES other dogs, is crate trained housebroken, good with cats, walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She is learning some basic commands and is very, very treat motivated! Sandy is very timid when meeting new people and will need someone who understands and is willing to give her the time and patience that she needs to warm up and feel comfortable. Another dog in the home helps her, especially if they like to play! Sandy would love a fenced yard where she can play and do zoomies. She was pretty shut down when she first came into the foster’s home, but has blossomed as she’s become more and more comfortable and secure. She is very sensitive and loud noises can startle her but overtime that has been improving to where she feels more secure in the foster’s home. She is very sweet and loving and such a good girl. She deserves a family to call her own. Sandy is 2.5 years old and the perfect size at 35 pounds - we have no idea her breed other than super mutt (which are the best) - another confident dog in the home is a must as this helps Sandy blossom even more - she is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, has had a full bloodwork panel done, 4DX Heartworm negative, current on prevention (heartworm and flea/tick), microchipped and ready to find a new last name The first step in our adoption process is filling out our adoption application that can be found on our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org - Once the application is reviewed and vet references are done - we will be in touch - we do require a home visit as well. All of our dogs are in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina - we do not have a facility Sandy's adoption fee is $250.00 If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out

Goose is a goofy loving boy. He loves fetch and car rides and exploring outside. He is very protective over his family and truly a big sweetheart. He loves to cuddle and play and is very smart. He needs someone who can give him training, consistency, and love. He’s only 2 but has been passed around from foster to foster so he really just needs a forever home.
