Story
Rocky is a great dog, we’re just not the right home for him. His owner, my partner’s son, died earlier this year and we’re taking care of him, but it’s clear he needs more than we can give him. He has no boundaries and loves everyone he meets. A little consistent training would likely help with the boundaries. He also needs A LOT of attention, like 8-year old kid run and play kind of attention. Rocky is house and crate trained. He does not like the squirt bottle and will seriously consider his actions if he thinks he’s likely to be squirted. Full disclosure, he has peed on bags/boxes in the floor, but I’m guessing this most likely stems from boredom and his need for attention. Other Rocky facts: He’s 5-6 years old, weighs 60lbs, and is neutered. Drools like crazy when in a car. Walks ok on a leash but can be leash aggressive to other dogs, lots of barking and lunging (mostly I think because he’s excited, just doesn’t necessarily appear that way).

Story
These two girls are a bonded pair that need a forever home. Their papa has been moved to an independent living facility and they are not able to come along. They are both loving and playful. They are used to being outside most of the day. Both are housebroken and love being with each other. We are hoping they can find a home together. Currently they are in a boarding situation in Greensboro with plenty of room for running. The are around 4-5 years old and up to date on all shots. Please help find Ginger and Pepper a loving forever home together.

Story
Artimus turned 6 years old in December, he is 80lbs and a mixed breed boxer. He is great around kids (although due to his size and energy probably older kids would be good as he tends to knock others over:)). He lived with my parents' boxer for years so I think he would be fine with other dogs. He is currently living with my mom in her 55 plus community and just is becoming too much for her.

Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Rascal is a 4-1/2 year old spayed female "mixed hound" with personality. She was found abandoned with 5 siblings of about 6-8 weeks old, all were under nourished. She is current on vaccines. She is smart, easily trainable by a skilled trainer (food driven). She likes to talk, loves attention and to boss her sister. She's an exuberant tail wager (helicopter tail!). Recent family/household developments have overwhelmed her owner that likes to spoil her and is unskilled in training. These changes and stresses in the household has created an environment resulting in some behavior change, reactionary stress toward her litter sister. She sleeps well at night in her crate with her blanket and cushion, generally 7pm to 7am.

Story
**UPDATE** Due to my other dog's declining health, I am seeking short-term fostering (likely 3 months, possibly less) rather than rehoming for Little Bear. Little Bear is a beautiful 3 year old, 27 lb dream boy who does the best head tilts and likes to be held like a little lamb. He is mellow, snuggly, goofy, gentle, and generally quiet. He thrives around other dogs, and is wary-to-afraid of cats. It is very important to him that he be in daily contact with other dogs. Little Bear is a perfect angel and I would keep him if I could! Unfortunately, my pre-existing dog, who is blind and elderly, wants to murder him - so it is not safe or fair for Little Bear or my other dog to continue living together. Little Bear was originally rescued from a hoarding situation in VA in May 2025 and I adopted him a month later. I'm so proud of how he's flourished and adapted to living in a normal home. He is so resilient and open-hearted despite what he's been through!

Story
It is with a super heavy heart that we must rehome our six year-old mixed breed rescue. She is a funny, lovable, super playful 63 pound Heinz 57 clown. She is spayed, healthy up-to-date on vaccines. She went through training as a pup and would be able to start following the commands again if repeated every day, she is very smart. She does still follow basic commands. housebroken, crate trained at night but would love to sleep with you! She LOVES to play fetch, she LOVES the water. Very treat oriented and will follow commands quickly. If there is a treat involved, she will remember how to heal on a leash for walks and could possibly be trained to be your run, buddy she is OK with medium and large dogs, she thinks small dogs are chew toys. Would do best as your sole doggy and limited time with larger dogs initially. She is a cuddler and wants to be your one and only #1! She hasn't been around cats or small children. She will make a great dog with the best loving energetic human!
