This is our sweet Jersey girl. We love her with all of our hearts, and it breaks me to be creating this profile for her. Our only goal is to find the best possible home for Jersey, one where she can feel safe, understood, and loved for the amazing dog she is. My husband and I adopted Jersey a little over 7 years ago when she was just 3 months old. We rescued her from a shelter in New Jersey, which is where she got her name. She was found in Alabama with her brothers and sisters before being transported to the shelter, and I have always wondered what her first few months of life were like. When we brought her home, she was an anxious little puppy but also the happiest, most bubbly girl. I truly felt like I won the lottery with her. Jersey has been such an important part of our family. She has been with us through so many seasons of life, and she is incredibly loved. She is loyal, affectionate, playful, and has such a big personality. I adopted Goose from the SPCA 3 years ago. His previous owners were taken to jail and he was seized with 2 other dogs. Goose is a very rambunctious young lad. His age is estimated to be 5-6, however he has the energy of a puppy. Unfortunately, I am at work 10 hours of the day, and Goosey gets lonely. He also attempts to play with my 14-year-old cat who now has a decreased quality of life due to having a silly dog in the house. He deserves a home with a large fenced in yard, and someone who is home more often. Goose can be hit or miss with other dogs and tends to get along best with female dogs his size or larger. His report card after staying over night at the kennel said he was "a sweet boy, happy-wagging his tail, curious about everything- didn't appear anxious". Goose has a lot of love to give and will request pets and cuddles at any time. Sitting on the couch? He will jump up and cuddle with you!
