Story
Malachi is a sweet, gentle dog who loves quietly but deeply. He is slow to warm up, but once he trusts you, he is devoted — happiest curled up in your lap, giving the daintiest little kisses.I want to be honest about his challenges. Malachi has fear and anxiety that developed a few months after coming to live with me. He is scared of many things, and his fear can make him reactive. He has had professional training and has never bitten, but the potential exists with any fearful dog, and his next home needs to understand that.Ideal home: experienced with anxious dogs, calm and quiet, adults or older dog-savvy kids, willing to continue his training at his pace.I am fully committed to a smooth transition — proper meet and greet, follow-up visits if needed, and sharing everything I know about his triggers, routine, and what makes him feel safe. With the right person, Malachi will give you his whole heart.

Story
Meet Oliver — the goofiest, sweetest soul you will ever meet. Oliver is a big, derpy lovebug who seems to wake up happy every single day. He moves through life like everything is the best thing that has ever happened to him, and that joy is contagious. He loves nicknames (the sillier the better), is highly motivated by treats, and will happily make a fool of himself for either one. But the thing I love most about Oliver is his loving spirit. He pours affection into everyone around him. He is the kind of dog who makes you feel like the most important person in the room just by being near you. He gives love freely and openly, no warm-up required. I am fully committed to a smooth transition for him — proper meet and greet, follow-up visits if helpful, and sharing everything about his routine, quirks, and what makes him happiest. Oliver will fit right into a home that has love to give. He is ready to give it right back, tenfold.

Story
We have had Bella since she was a puppy. Her mom was hit by a car, and we rescued her. We have had her for almost 5 years now, and she is such a good doggy. She is extremely affectionate, cuddly, and loces attention. She does like to chew things so make sure you give her toys to chew. She hasn't chewed anything like couches, shoes or anything. But my kids stuffed animals if left out will become her toys. Lol She is good with kids. We have a 9 year old, 7 year old and 1 year old. We also have a cat. They arent friends but that's mainly due to the cat. Bella tries to play but my cat won't have any of it lol She barks at any intruders or dogs that walk by only when outside. And let out a rumble if a stranger is at the door. But day to day she isn't a barker. She isn't aggressive. She is just protective of her people. However if a stranger gets close she runs and hides. Usually hiding behind us or in her kennel. However, once you give her food, treats or pets. She warms up

Story
We rescued Pepper from a local rescue 3 years ago. We're heartbroken about re-homing him. Pepper is extremely loyal, loving, affectionate and sweet, and he's great with people including kids. Unfortunately Pepper is not great with other dogs which we didn't know when we adopted him. We have another dog and Pepper has made her life challenging. We also discovered that our older daughter has a severe dog allergy which has compounded our challenges & heartbreak. Pepper is 5 yrs old, fully house trained and crate trained, loves to walk on his leash and is so so loyal. He whole-heartedly enjoys belly rubs, being pet, and being loved by humans --- he's even great w/ strangers such as a delivery guy entering the home. Pepper is a good boy who just wants to love and be loved by humans. He's used to having a fenced in back yard and loves sun bathing. He has a ridiculously cute snaggle tooth/underbite which initially drew us to him 3 years ago. If you are a one-dog family, Pepper is perfect.

Story
Benson is five years old, neutered, in good health. and is the softest and fluffiest pup ever! He completed Basic Manners, Intermediate Manners and a Scent work for Fun class. He has lived with 4 other dogs. He is dog selective with unfamiliar dogs. He is reactive to kids. He is a cautious guy, very affectionate, loyal, attentive, an easy keeper with good manners, athletic-he can jump a 5ft fence, and oh so sweet! His canine brother started a fight with him in Oct 2025 and it ended with puncture wounds. It was a traumatic experience for everyone. The boys are currently living in separate spaces in the same house. After working with a behavioralist, a behavioral vet, and the boys living in different houses for 3 months, it has been decided that they cannot live safely with one another. Benson does enjoy and rely on another dog in the household if it's the right dog.Benson is the type of dog that looks into your soul and steals your heart.

Story
Meet Baxter – A Sweet Soul Looking for a Calm Home Baxter is an 8-year-old sweetheart who’s ready to find his perfect match. He’s a quiet, gentle boy who loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch, enjoying a cozy movie night, and being near his people. He does best in a calm home without other dogs—he’s not dangerous but can be dog aggressive, he prefers to be the only pup. He gets along well with cats and would be happiest with a single person, a couple, or someone older who appreciates a laid-back companion. Baxter is a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly loving. He does have some anxiety during thunderstorms, but sitting with him and offering a few treats helps ease his nerves. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate dog to share your days with, Baxter might be the perfect fit.
