Story
Atheno is a sweet 2 year old dog! He is a Doberman lab American bulldog pit bull mix. He’s great with kids and adults! He has lived with a few dogs and gotten along with them great! The dogs he has lived with are rotty/shepard mix a shelter and a beagle mix. There is one dog specifically he can’t get along with and he’s the beagle mix. We have kept them separated but a few times they have gotten in the same room and had a fight. Atheno has never had issues before but it’s not fair for him to have to be separated because of that. So we are looking to rehome him. He would do really well in a home by himself where he can get lots of love and focus. He is pretty well crate trained but still has some accidents as any puppy would. He’s such a good dog and we hope to find the right family for him.

Story
Meet Baxter – A Sweet Soul Looking for a Calm Home Baxter is an 8-year-old sweetheart who’s ready to find his perfect match. He’s a quiet, gentle boy who loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch, enjoying a cozy movie night, and being near his people. He does best in a calm home without other dogs—he’s not dangerous but can be dog aggressive, he prefers to be the only pup. He gets along well with cats and would be happiest with a single person, a couple, or someone older who appreciates a laid-back companion. Baxter is a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly loving. He does have some anxiety during thunderstorms, but sitting with him and offering a few treats helps ease his nerves. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate dog to share your days with, Baxter might be the perfect fit.

Story
Name: Lucy Age: Approximately 2-3 years Breed: Mixed Health: Spayed, vaccinated, chipped Lucy is a former stray that I planned to take care of temporarily while taking time to find a good home for her. Unfortunately, my dog doesn't like her and she needs a new foster or adopter. She is a real people pleaser and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She is also very trainable and picks up on commands quickly. She should not be in a house with cats but mostly gets on with other dogs. She's also pretty good with kids and would make a good family dog. Vet records will be provided, along with basic supplies, like a pillow, food bowls, leash, etc. She is a real sweetheart who has been through some tough times and deserves a good forever home.

Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Laika was recused from ACCT Philly almost two years ago as a puppy. She is a very energetic dog who loves to chew bones, bound around the park, play outside, sunbathe and destroy plushy toys. She can run along with us for 5 miles and walk seemingly forever. She also loves to snuggle up on the couch or in bed, getting as close as physically possible. She is a very affectionate dog. She loves giving kisses. She knows sit, lay down, paw, and come. She is good with most dogs but responds with excitement and occasional aggression to reactive dogs. She is very strong and pulls on the leash, so she will need an owner who can handle that. We use a front leading harness which helps a ton. She is a goofy, clumsy, fun dog who ideally needs an owner with a very active lifestyle, no cats/ children, and a big old yard or outdoor area for her. She is good off leash in empty spaces, but will chase a squirrel/ dog. She is okay sharing toys and feeding time with her dog brother at home. Please reach out

Story
Violet is a Lab mix rescued in 2020, who turned 5 yrs and weighing approx. 50lbs. She needs an experienced adopter who understands reactivity and can keep her disciplined and consistent. She is not friendly with other dogs. Does well with our cat. She is food motivated and why I say no to young children. She follows commands, best one is findiIt, high-five, sit, and wait. Can be afraid at times and needs reassurance. Enjoys warm baths and will allow herself in the tub and remains calm. Does very well during kennel stays as long as she is in a private room and is playful with the team. Energetic but enjoys lounging and thrives in a peaceful, stress free environment. Enjoys long walks and the outdoors watching birds and if she could, chase every squirrel. Likes sitting on the couch and playing with her favorite toys and being by your side and on the lap. Desiring her a home who can love her dearly and continue to make her a successful and a happy companion.
