Story
I got her from the shelter. She was very shy and afraid of many things; little by little she has become more social. She understands with ease human routines. She is house trained; she does not dash through doors. Saffie is calm and gentle and she is used to dogs and cats; I have not been lucky finding her a playmate; though we go for long walks 3 times a day, but she needs a friend to play with, she'll be happier with the company of another dog. She is a fast runner. She will do well with a dog that is a bit shy like her or that is smaller in size. She will not do well with dogs that have dominant personality. ~Ideal Home: - Family with a similar dog; a friendly dog or one that is a bit shy like her - A house with a yard or a ranch with some land. ** Please do NOT adopt her if : - You live in an apartment - You plan to keep her caged in a kennel, bathroom or garage. (my idea is that she will go to a place where she will be happier and freer). **She is afraid of kids.

Sassy is a sweetheart and very curious! She's attached to her sister and loves to play! Shes affectionate but not a velcro dog, she's independent and very smart. Sassy is not up to date like her sister is unfortunately. She does have her rabies shot and tag. She loves stuffed frozen toys and ears, they've tried many types of treats like quail, raw meat, freeze dried liver, heart, etc. But their FAVORITE is duck feet!! She deserves a good home

Story
My brother in law is the original owner and we have only fostered Rocko for 3 months. He is 2 years old. House trained and crate trained. Very loving but not that comfortable with other pets. He is not aggressive but is a young dog that does not realize his size. He is big and his tail/heavy paws is scaring my 3 cats and small dog when he jumps in excitement. He barks when meeting other dogs, or when nervous or scared but otherwise very calm and obedient when alone. He is curious and knows several commands. We are working with him to learn not to jump on people. I’m not sure how he is around kids because our kids are adults. He is up to date on his shots and we started flea prevention medicine.

Story
My elderly Aunt moved to Austin with her two dogs. She has been unable to take care of the dogs in her new setting. She will be kicked out of her housing if we can't rehome the dogs. It was very hard to find her appropriate housing for her. Her health is our number one priority right now, and she is way too ill to take proper care of them.

Story
Birdie was born September 6th! Shes bouncy and very attached to her sister, loves to play outside and loves to give kisses! She loves pig ears stuffed and frozen, soft toys, and lot of affection. They've tried many types of treats like quail, raw meat, freeze dried liver, heart, etc. But their FAVORITE is duck feet!! Shes not too clingy, definitely not a velcro dog luckily. Kennel trained and knows her name, very good start to recall but untrained. She's a little skittish but she's so friendly and loving! Just needs a bit of confidence training. She's been registered in shady acres doggy daycare! She needs to be scheduled as a 1 on 1 dog until she's more comfortable! Still learning house training since they were outside dogs but shes insanely smart! Shes in need of a good loving home to give her that confidence she needs!
