Story
Casper is my 4–5 yr old 65 lb foster pup, and after years of waiting, desperately needs a family. Casper spent over a year in the WilCo shelter and was adopted and returned twice due to behavioral challenges. When he came to me, he had major trust issues after experiencing abuse and unstable, overstimulating environments. After a couple of years in foster care, he has made TREMENDOUS progress. He is sweet, funny, incredibly smart, playful, and so full of personality. He is now much more confident and trusting and enjoys hiking, swimming, and adventures. He does well with many dogs, especially females and smaller dogs, but needs thoughtful introductions and a home that understands dog boundaries. He is an active boy who needs an active family willing to provide plenty of exercise, structure, and mental stimulation. I am leaving the country when my lease ends this December and cannot take him with me. I am desperate to find him a loving forever home. Please help!

This is Merle, a one-year old blue heeler mix that was rescued as a puppy in rural East Texas. Today, Merle is looking for something very specific: the right fit.He is not the kind of dog who wants to be everybody’s best friend, and that’s okay. Merle tends to prefer a smaller circle and a calmer environment, but he bonds deeply with his people. Merle has worked his absolute hardest to be the best boy. He is loose leash trained, crate trained, muzzle trained, basic obedience, and loves to continue his work on reliable commands such as place, stay, and recall.Because of some sensitivity around stress, Merle is looking for an adult home with no children. He may do best as an only dog or in a very experienced home able to manage introductions and boundaries thoughtfully.This is not a beginner dog. Merle needs someone who sees value in a dog with depth, instincts, and personality—not just convenience. He is smart, capable, resilient, and deserving of a home that fits who he actually is.

Willow is a very loving, well-behaved, and laid-back dog. She has never had an accident in the house and does not bark, growl, or cause trouble. She is very calm and easygoing. She does well around other dogs and is usually just curious and wants to sniff and play. She has never had issues with children or other dogs. We are unsure how she is with cats. Willow loves sunbathing, cuddling, and getting lots of love and attention. She is a very chill, lazy girl who would be happiest in a home where she can get plenty of companionship. Unfortunately, we recently welcomed a newborn and are also moving, and we can no longer give Willow the time and attention she deserves. This is a very difficult decision because she is such a sweet dog, but we want to find her a loving home where she will be cared for and treated like family. ❤️

Meet Buster! This is incredibly hard for me to post, but I’m looking for the right home for a very sweet pit mix who deserves a family that will love him as much as he’ll love them. He is genuinely the sweetest boy. He’s friendly with kids, leaves cats alone, and has the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. He’s happy to play and have fun, but he also loves just hanging out and relaxing with his people. I would prefer he be the only dog as he can be protective and territorial. He is fixed and up to date on vaccines.

Ivy was born under a car in the country about 10 months ago and has grown into a wonderful companion. She is a very intelligent, playful, and sweet girl who is ready for a new family to call her own. We are heartbroken to rehome her, but human health issues in our household make it necessary.Ivy is:• Roughly 10 months old• Spayed, microchipped, and fully house trained• Highly trained (knows sit, down, wait, stay, leave it, take it, go to bed, gentle, easy, and more!)• Good with other dogs and cats• A ball-enthusiast who will do anything for a game of fetchIvy is a tough gal but can be a bit shy at first; she just needs a little time to warm up to new people. Her tail is wagging all the time just to make you happy! She currently lives with a teenager, but very young children (under 5) might be a bit too overwhelming for her puppy energy.💰 Rehoming fee: $60
