Story
Located in Lancaster approved for same day adoption text or email for direct contact with Rescuer 661-609-2186 memeco635@gmail.com Hey everyone, my name is Draco. I just turned one year old and I am a Papillion who came from a hoarder house. My rescuer got a call and was told to come to Perris California and help the local animal control evaluate some dogs at a hoarders house. I was hidden in a chest with my brother covered in poop and pee. We had not been bathed in weeks if not months, we resorted to eating our own feces 😨 The woman who owned the house was an elderly woman who showed signs of dementia, and she just let our parents continue to have babies. Unfortunately, our parents killed and ate some of our siblings due to the deplorable conditions we were in but thankfully my brother and I were taken in time by our rescuer instead of being forced to go to the pound. We were fostered and brought back to health, given real food and water but I’m still extremely timid and shy when I first meet people and I need someone who is patient and kind who can bring out the confident dog I’m meant to be. Our foster gives us so much love and attention, but tries to avoid causing separation anxiety or social anxiety. I would do best in a home with another confident dog or cat who is very friendly or a family That is patient and understands I need a little time to open up to them but once I do, I will drown you in love! I am very quiet but that’s not necessarily A bad thing I am not much of a barker so I would be perfect for any family dynamic in any home environment whether an apartment complex, townhome, house, trailer, mobile home, etc. if I seem like the perfect potential for Baby for you and your family, please contact my rescuer directly. I am approved for same-day adoption, and I will do my best to make you fall in love with me when we meet.

Story
Little Pepper’s time in the shelter was harrowing to stay the least. She was so scared that all she could think to do was protect herself by not allowing people to get near her. We saw the fear in her big eyes, though, as she tried to melt into the back of the kennel, and we had to save her. This pretty girl is 3 years old with a beautiful silky chocolate and tan coat. Her wonderfully big ears stand at attention as she listens to our soothing words and gently takes treats from our hands. With love and kindness, Pepper will learn that people can be trusted. Before you know it, she’ll be your loyal companion, ready to take on the world as long as you are by her side. Pepper weighs 11 pounds and is microchipped and vaccinated. She will be spayed as part of her adoption. In the meantime, she’s waiting for you to come and whisk her away!

Story
Olive is a retired Show Papillon. She has very been breed but always spoiled and loved. Olive has the cutest personality! Plays with her toys like a puppy! She loves to be cuddled and loved on. She's great with everyone and other dogs. Potty trained. She is in wonderful health. It is know this breed lives to 20+ years.  She would be a lovely companion. Because she is so teeny we don't suggest small hands/small children :) Interested in this little 4.5 lb darling? Then please submit an application on our website listed below. www.rescuesontherunway.org  September 23, 2023, 5:13 pm

Story
Meet a timid girl, Miyoung🩷 She was brought to Korean City Shelter with a collar that was too small for her and had dug into her skin.😢 Concerned by the poor shelter environment and risk for infection in her wounded skin on her neck, we rescued her immediately. We don’t know what kind of experiences she’s had, but she was very fearful of people and did not want to come near anyone. Fortunately, she was taken in by a warm foster family and learning to be around people. We hope and wish for a loving forever family for our gentle Miyoung. 🙏🏻 * Potty Training: Because going for walks is difficult for her now, she goes potty indoors, and she sometimes has accidents.😭 * Doesn’t approach people first, but she is very gentle and docile even when being held for nail clipping or hair trimming. 🥰 * Got along well with other dogs at the Adogs Center even though she doesn’t actively play with them. * Fearful and wary of people and not comfortable with people’s attention. She is very sensitive to noise so she hides in a corner. 😣 * When she has to do something she does not like such as going in her crate, she sometimes has an accident on the spot. 😭 * She eats, drinks, and goes potty at nights when it’s quiet. During the day, she only eats when you feed her directly with your hands. * No nipping, doesn’t make any mess, no barking! ⭐️ Miyoung’s Foster Instagram: @adogs_miyoung 💙 Health issues / Vaccination records: Finished treatment for heartworms(Needed retest) Dental cleaning completed. * She has partial dental fracture and luxating patella. * She is taking stress-relieving medication twice a day.
