Story
Bean is a gentle, soulful companion looking for a calm, adult-only home where he can truly relax and blossom. With his low-energy, mellow nature, Bean is happiest curled up beside you, quietly soaking in your presence. He’s the definition of a lap dog—once he feels safe, he’ll lean into you with soft affection, showing just how much he trusts you. Bean can be a bit shy at first and needs time to adjust to new surroundings, but patience and kindness go a long way with him. He’s especially motivated by affection, responding best to gentle encouragement and a loving touch. His soft mouth and easygoing temperament make him a sweet, considerate companion. He gets along well with other dogs, though he’s just as content enjoying peaceful one-on-one time with his person. Bean isn’t looking for a fast-paced or noisy environment—he’s searching for a quiet home where he can build confidence at his own pace and share his quiet loyalty. If you’re someone who appreciates the beauty of a slow bond and the comfort of a calm, devoted friend, Bean might just be the perfect match.

She came to our rescue after being surrendered with her six babies, and after raising her little family, this sweet girl is finally ready to cash in on something just for her—a loving home of her own.   When Moolah first arrived, she was shy and a bit skittish, sticking close to her person for reassurance. In those early days, she was practically glued to her foster mom, quietly observing the world around her. But it didn’t take long for her gentle personality to start shining through. Within just a few days, she gained confidence and began showing her affectionate side, happily snuggling up with her foster dad and teenage family member. Now, one of her favorite routines is to curl up next to “her boy” after a burst of morning fun.   And speaking of fun— Moolah has recently discovered the joy of playtime. These days, right after her morning potty break, she makes a beeline for her favorite squeaky toy and zooms around the house with surprising enthusiasm. It’s been a delight to watch her inner puppy emerge as she realizes she can relax and enjoy herself. Her expressive ears— truly some of the best around— perk, tilt, and swivel with every new discovery, giving you a perfect window into what she’s thinking.   Moolah is incredibly smart and is making wonderful progress with her house training. While she wasn’t housebroken when she first arrived, she’s quickly catching on and is now starting to go outside on her own to do her business. She’s still getting used to the crate and may voice her opinion for a few minutes before settling down, but she does adjust with a little patience. She’s also new to leash walking, yet because she’s such a loyal, Velcro-type companion, she naturally stays close and walks right alongside her person.   In the home, Moolah is gentle, well-mannered, and easy to live with. She doesn’t dig or chew on things she shouldn’t, gets along nicely with other dogs, and truly loves being near her people. She thrives on companionship and affection, happily following you from room to room just to be part of whatever you’re doing.   Moolah may still be building her confidence, but her progress so far shows just how resilient and loving she is. With a little patience, encouragement, and plenty of cuddles, this sweet girl is sure to blossom into the devoted companion she was always meant to be.May 10, 2026, 10:06 pm

All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.Adoption fee: $750 Meet Pixie – A tiny Papillon mix with a big heart for cuddles   At just 7–8 months old and a petite 6 pounds, Pixie is the definition of a “pocket pup.” She came to the rescue alongside her buddies Puck, Tinker, and Imp, and from the moment she arrived, it was clear— this little girl is equal parts affectionate companion and playful spark.   A Day in Pixie’s World   Pixie is wonderfully easygoing and adapts to whatever kind of day you have planned. She doesn’t demand a strict schedule and is happy to go with the flow.   She sleeps soundly through the night and lets you wake up on your own time. During the day, she alternates between cozy cuddle sessions and playful bursts of energy. While she’s not much of a long-distance walker (tiny legs, after all!), she enjoys getting out and about— often riding along in a bag and taking in the world from a safe perch. When it’s time for a potty break or a little exploring, she happily hops down to sniff around and do her business.   At home, Pixie is happiest wherever you are— usually curled up next to you on the couch or trotting nearby to see what you’re up to. At night, she settles into her crate, sometimes offering a brief opinion about bedtime before quickly drifting off.   Personality: Sweet, Snuggly, and Social   Pixie is a true cuddle bug. She loves being close to her people and will happily snuggle into your arms whenever invited. She’s the kind of dog who looks at you with soft, loving eyes that completely melt your heart.   She’s also a curious little shadow, following you from room to room just to stay involved in your day. While she can be a touch shy or cautious at first, all it takes is a little reassurance (and maybe being scooped up) for her to feel safe and comfortable.   Once she settles in, her playful side shines. She adores squeaky toys and will zoom around the house, inviting you to chase her in a game that’s as adorable as it is entertaining.   Friends & Social Life   Pixie gets along beautifully with other dogs, both at home and out on walks— as long as they approach her gently. She’s shown no signs of resource guarding and has been friendly with every dog she’s met.   She’s also incredibly people-friendly and doesn’t seem to mind being held by new friends. In fact, she once spent an entire class quietly tucked into a tote bag without anyone even noticing she was there— until the end, when she happily accepted attention from a room full of admirers.   Play Style & Energy   Pixie is the best of both worlds. If you’re in the mood to relax, she’ll happily curl up and nap with you for hours. If you’re feeling playful, she’s ready to spring into action with her toys or a game of chase.   Her exercise needs are minimal, making her a great fit for a variety of lifestyles—she’s just as content lounging as she is playing.   Training & Habits   Pixie is crate trained and currently working on her potty training. She uses potty pads reliably and is learning to go outside as well. Like many small dogs, she may take a little extra time to fully master housetraining, but she’s on the right track with consistency and patience.   She’s not a barker— aside from the occasional tiny excited sound during play— and hasn’t shown any chewing or destructive behaviors.   What Makes Pixie Special   There’s something about Pixie’s gaze— once she trusts you, she looks at you with pure love and devotion. It’s the kind of connection that makes you feel like the most important person in her world.   A Favorite Pixie Moment   Pixie once sat quietly in a tote bag for an entire 1.5-hour class without making a peep. No one even realized she was there—until the big reveal, when she calmly soaked up attention from a room full of new friends. Safe to say, she’s equal parts adaptable and charming.   Pixie may be small, but she brings a whole lot of love, warmth, and joy wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a cuddly, easygoing companion with a playful streak, Pixie might just be your perfect match.May 10, 2026, 10:06 pm

Story
Max  is a super sweet, tender-hearted pup who is looking for a patient, loving home. While he may be timid at first—often preferring to watch the world go by from a cozy, safe spot—he has a heart of gold and is incredibly gentle when he warms up. Energy Level?  Medium House trained?  No, we keep him in a pen with potty pads when we can take him outside. But he is smart and very eager to please his human. He will get it in no time with consistency. Describe how they are on a leash?  He is not used to walking on a leash, but is much better with a harness. Max does not like being pulled by his neck with just a collar. Currently, I have fastened the Martingale collar to the harness in order to be able to practice walking on a leash for his safety. Describe how they are with other dogs?  Max is friendly and great with other dogs.  Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Max is great with the resident dog. I have found them snuggling together on the couch. He has passed the cat test and would be fine with cats. Commands they know?  Max comes when you call him, but he hasn't had much training and would definitely benefit from basic training. What are their favorite things?  Cuddles, hanging out outside, playing with plushy toys, and mealtimes. What do they need to work on?  Building confidence, basic training, and leash training. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  Max sleeps when he is left alone. He may cry for a few minutes at first, but he stops within 5 minutes. The longest time I have left Max at home is 5 hours, and he did just fine. Where do they sleep?  Max sleeps on his bed in his xpen. What is their ideal home?  With patience and consistency, sweet Max would do great with any family. Max is 3 years old and 10.71 pounds.     The Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt . Story
Little Banana is ready to find his forever home! He's appx 3 to 4 yrs old. Weights only about 8 to 10lbs as he's a lil guy with a bossy attitude with other dogs! He loves to stay close to people and cuddle. He's very food motivated, walks well on leash! He would bark at strangers and kids when he first see them but he will be fine afterwards. He loves to sun bathe and gets his belly rubs! He is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
