Story
Meet Summer! She is a 5 year old Papillon/Spaniel mix (we are guessing). She is 11 pounds and is a total cuddle bug. She is very smart and has very good house manners. She is housebroken, sleeps quietly in her crate at night and is not a nuisance barker. Even though she would love to join in with the other dogs to bark at the mailman, she has learned not to join in. Summer gets along with other dogs and likes to play with her foster brother occasionally. But her true calling in life is to be a lap dog! We feel her ideal will be one that allows her humans to be home more often than not. Her foster mom is retired now (so we aren’t sure how she would do if she was left alone for 8-10 hours a day.) But if your family has a staggered schedule or you’re retired then Summer might be your girl! She definitely prefers women to men. We aren’t sure what happened to her before she came to us but she takes a bit longer to warm up to men. She just isn’t as trusting of men as she is women. Honestly, we believe her 7th heaven would be a retired single woman who wants a loyal companion to just hang out with all day. She doesn’t need a ton of exercise, and she is quite content to lay in the recliner and watch tv with you. Summer is a bit shy when she meets new people but once she feels comfortable and safe she is a happy, sweet little dog! She has tons of love to share with her forever family. Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time. Story
Out of state adoptions will not be acceptable or Northern california will NOt be considered either. Needs to be local-- Orange County preferred Yoba Linda is fine-- Parts of South County is fine -- She currently with rescue organization --- she is bit shy at first but does warm up. She is super sweet if her potential adopter give her time to adjust. Good one leash - she is good with other small breed dogs -- As she been with our rescue organization we are realizing that she has separation anxiety -- she does much better with another dog in the home who around her size like 20 pounds and under. Roughly 6 years and under from foster mom Marley is the sweetest pup, it just takes a little comforting & reassuring petting for her to warm up to you. She is a bit skittish at first and just needs a little exposure to get used to her environment. She’s smart and learns quickly. She would do well in a home with dogs similar in size since she’s a bit delicate. She has the cutest personality, especially when she is happy and turns in circles to let you know she wants to play. She’s very loyal and enjoys being next to you at all times. She does well on walks and is potty trained. Once she’s familiar with you, you’ll have her love for the rest of your life. **She definitely needs to be in home with another dog does not do well without another dog in the home to keep her company. Once she warms up the person she is great dog. ***** dog friendly but very cautious. Not good with cats She is kid friendly --- needs to be older Kids such as 10 and older No young kids She is leash trained. She is potty trained. She is crate trained. She is house trained. estimated weight - under 12 pounds She is about 3 years old. She is not neutered or spayed. - will BE She is not vaccinated. -- Fully vaccinated and microchipped under the rescue She is currently located-- with the rescue organization She does not bite at all and never has. She is never left alone. She does not have separation anxiety. I've had her since she was a puppy. I got her from a friend. Reason I am giving her up is because my landlord and housing situation. anyone INterested in her please fill out app https://www.girlsofdogrescue.net/initial-application.html

Story
PLEASE COMPLETE OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT WWW.LOVEBUGSRESCUE.ORG IF YOU'D LIKE TO MEET ONE OF OUR LOVEBUGS. Ginger is a 6 year old, 13 lb Papillon mix with the most adorable ears! She has settled into her foster home and is very loving and sweet. However, she will require a slow warm up to new people she doesn’t know. Ginger gets along great with dogs and is doing pretty well with the cats in her foster. She is potty trained and well mannered on the home front. The best type of home for Ginger would be a one on the quiet side with less coming and going and a secure yard. We think another dog in the home would be ideal for Ginger. We have no doubt she is going to thrive will just a little bit of confidence building over time. Ginger's adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, registered microchip, vaccines current, deworming and fleas treatment. Apply at www.lovebugsrescue.org
