Rescued from a heartbreaking situation in Egypt, this petite (just 6 lbs) boy who is estimated to be 1 year old is sure to transform into a fluffy bundle of love with a glimmer of Persian elegance in his features. Initially cautious, Horus is still settling and acclimating in foster care. Once he feels safe, he adores gentle chin scratches, pets, and being close to his favorite humans. He’s still learning that the world is a kind place, so he’ll need a patient adopter who understands the power of trust and time. Playful and kitten-sized, Horus delights in batting around toys and chasing interactive games. He also enjoys quiet moments — bird-watching by the window, curling up beside your laptop, or joining you for a cozy movie night. Treats help him bond to new people, and he’s a pro at using his litterbox. Horus would thrive in a calm home or and one where he’s is allowed a gradual acclimation time to feel safe. He’s only been in his foster home a short time and is already blossoming. In return, he’ll reward you with a loyal, loving presence and the joy of seeing him discover happiness and trust. He might have a “grumpy” little face, but behind that expression is an affectionate, sweet kitty.Amun is a little shy at first, but once he decides you’re trustworthy, he becomes a head-rubbing purr machine, who likes to check in with his humans for affection.Amun enjoys late-night play sessions and zoomy adventures with his feline buddies. He’s also great with the dogs and friendly with teenagers in his foster home (he just hasn’t met younger kiddos yet).One of his cutest quirks? He’ll quietly sneak around the house, then pop up to stare at you with his huge round eyes.
