Tucker is a loving 1 year old pit mix. He is neutered, crate and house trained! He has grown up with 8 kids ranging from ages 6-18, and knows basic commands such as sit, stay, lie down, shake, wait/eat, kennel, etc. He is very affectionate and thinks he is a lap dog- being at his happiest when he is getting attention! Tucker has not lived in a home with other animals, but is curious and gets along with most other dogs who are also friendly!

He’s smart, well-trained, great with other dogs, and happiest when he’s part of a family or pack. Key Points • Age/Size: 5½ years old, ~90 lbs • Temperament: Loyal, gentle with familiar people, great with dogs, loves the outdoors • Behavior: May bark at strangers initially; settles quickly and warms up • Notes: Has separation anxiety at the vet or boarding facilities. Needs thoughtful management • Reason for rehoming: Moving from a house with a yard to an apartment, not the right environment for him Ideal Home • Experience with large or shepherd-type dogs • Plenty of outdoor time and consistent structure • Someone able to manage separation anxiety with patience and planning
