Story
I adopted Johanna from the KC Pet Project back in April. She is five years old, but otherwise I don't know much about her history. She was found as a stray. She is VERY smart, excited, and eager to please her owner. She needs problems to solve and lots of exercise. She loves cuddling and being in your space. She is not good with other dogs, so she needs to be in a home where it's just her. I do not know how she does with kids, but she really loves people and wants to play - walks, tug of war, tearing up a stuffed animal. She is house trained and picks up on commands quickly. She has a lot of energy. I would otherwise keep her, but have found I don't have the space or time in my day to day life to give her what she needs.

She will chase the cat in play, but will run away. Very sweet girl that needs a new home as her owner is travelling too much to keep her.   Approximate Birthdate:  Aug 2022 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. COURTESY POST Jackson is such a fabulous boy. He's about five years old and recently lost his person and his home when his dad became very ill. Jackson is confused and lonely. He misses being in a real home and having someone to call his own. He'd love a fenced yard or daily walks, and he loves everyone: people of all ages, cats, and other dogs. Jackson just wants to be with someone who will love him. For now, Jackson is staying at the Humboldt, Kansas, shelter. She is just the cutest thing and a perfect size at 40lbs. She is good with other dogs and loves to play. Schatzi 's characteristics have a stronger tie with a German Shepherd over Blue Heeler and showing both in her loyalty and protective nature. She would do best with an active family without small children.
