Story
Riri is a spunky high energy dog that is need of a home that is calm without a lot of new exciting guests. She tolerates other animals but prefers to be on her own with her humans. She loves to cuddle, lay in her crate, and loves a warm soft place to lay. She loves kids but a little too much. As she will jump on everyone when she first sees them. And has a tendency to try and lick faces. Sometimes in her over excitement she can nibble a little when doing this like a love pinch. She can become food, toy, space, and human territorial so there needs be caution with children and small animals. Riri needs lots of walks multiples a day to help with her behaviors. Does best leashed with a chest clip harness to help contain her excitement for the walk and the occasional squirrel. Riri has had instances of getting too rough with smaller dogs.Although she has some behaviors that would require a lot of patience and work, she is a love bug who just needs the right fit. She wants to be a good girl.

This is a very difficult decision, and our first priority is finding her a loving, responsible home where she will be cared for and loved. She is an Akita-Husky mix with a wonderful personality. She has so much love to give and is very friendly, affectionate, and playful. ❤️ Great with kids 🐾 Good with other dogs 🐱 Good with cats 💉 Up to date on all vaccinations 📋 Shot records included ✂️ Already spayed 🏠 Comes with her large crate 🦮 Includes a quality walking harness and leash We are also including everything she needs to help make the transition to her new home as easy as possible. Stella is about 50 pounds of brains, beauty, and a whole lot of love. With one blue eye and one brown, she's certainly easy to remember but it's her personality that will really steal your heart. Stella is incredibly smart and knows all sorts of tricks, including sit, down, high five, spin, touch, and even bark on command. She enjoys walks, running around the yard, puzzle toys, and learning new things, but life in foster has shown us something even more important: Stella is a HUGE cuddler, and what she really wants is her person. She loves being close to her people and is happiest when she can simply hang out beside you. She's also discovered that sleeping in bed with her foster is pretty fantastic and sleeps through the night like a total champ. Stella enjoys other dogs and loves a good romp, although she's perfectly happy soaking up attention from her people, too. She's active without needing to be on the go every minute of the day. Behind those unforgettable eyes is a sweet girl who has learned that having a person of her own might just be the best thing in the world.

She loves curling up with her people on the couch for 'cuddles' (her favorite word). She's not a rough and tumble pup and much prefers cozy vibes. She's very smart and quickly picks up commands. While an avid fan of peanut butter, she has no interest in people food and is very well behaved. She can be shy at first, but show her some love and she'll love you to the moon and back.   Approximate Birthdate:  Aug 2022 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.
