Artemis is a beautiful 3 year old Cattle Dog/Husky Mix. She has been around children, dogs and cats and does well with all. She will chase the cat in play, but will run away. Very sweet girl that needs a new home as her owner is travelling too much to keep her. Approximate Birthdate: Aug 2022 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. I have lived with other dogs but have not socialized with people. Things like walking on a leash and going through doorways can be challenging for me. Adopting me will be extremely rewarding, but I need time to learn. - I’m a shy dog and need someone willing to be patient with me.- During my time at Wayside, I have enjoyed being around other dogs. My home needs are: - If you have kids in the home 9 years old and younger, I will need to meet them since I can be nervous around new people and loud noises. - New people and things make me a little nervous. Wayside recommends that I have a low traffic home. Special Request from Everly: For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. For your convenience, we sell them in our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.Hi, I’m Everly! I’m a shy and gentle girl who’s had a rough start.
