Story
Pluto is full of energy. 3 years old. Probably two dogs in one. He loves to play ball. Probably needs a yard to run around in. I am in a townhouse and don’t feel he can be the dog he deserves to be. He is greedy but has digestive issues so he is on a salmon and pea diet. Probiotic chew. And he loves milk biscuits. It took 4 months for me to figure out what agrees with his stomach. He also eats super fast so I use a slow feeder and soak his food in water for 10 min to help him digest it better. He prob could benefit from training, but he goes on walks fine. He does well at doggy play days. He just prefers to be outside, exploring. He doesn’t cuddle well at first lol. He is all over you. He is a sweet dog. I just don’t have the capacity to give him the life he deserves as I am a caretaker at the moment and traveling back and forth a lot so it is getting expensive boarding wise.

Mia is looking for a calm, confident adopter who can offer her the routine and structure, which is where she thrives! She'll do well in a dog-savvy home and gets along with other dogs when management is clear and calm. We recommend a home without young children; teens may be fine with guidance. Over the years, she's completed several training programs--passing each with flying colors! . To support her in her next chapter, Happy Gentle Dogs will provide a complimentary Board & Train before adoption, along with a smooth, hands-on transfer and follow-up support to set everyone up for success. Mia has a solid foundation and a big heart. If you're ready to meet her with patience and purpose, we'd love to hear from you. If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Buddy is a healthy, happy 1.5-year-old Husky mix weighing about 55 pounds. With a zest for life and a heart full of love, he's always ready for fetch, hikes, and outdoor fun! He's the perfect mix of playful energy and loyal companionship. Buddy gets along with most dogs when introduced properly, though he prefers smaller playgroups. He's potty trained, food-motivated, and a quick learner--just bring treats and watch him shine! Buddy's still figuring out how he feels about cats and kids, but he's open to meeting them with a patient, loving family. He's neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to go. Found as a stray in a local park, Buddy is now searching for a forever home where he can feel safe, have fun, and be part of the family. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment).
