Miss Jamie here is a work in progress. She came to us after a wonderful human brought her to our attention out in Toutle, WA. She had been running at large with 2 other huskies, one which was caught several weeks before, and the third hasn't been seen in weeks. We sent a trap up to the property owner and she trapped that night. She has been here ever since. Jamie loves cheese and loves cheese. Did I mention how much she loves cheese?!🤣 Will bark at you for cheese. 🤣 She is so gentle taking treats! But her being so treat motivated has helped us to gain her trust. She is quite vocal. Solid with other dogs and loves to play with other dogs! She loves balls and can entertain herself with balls but she is definitely more confident when another dog is around. She'll need another dog in a home to help her learn how to dog and be more comfortable around humans. Our Volunteers say, "She follows me around more often now in the big park, will lick my hand. But she's still pretty wary of human touch. I love when she gets vocal as she sounds sassy, and I feel like I can have a conversation with her!🤣 She still needs a lot of work to trust humans but I have hope for her. I love her beautiful, blue eyes." She is stunningly beautiful, gentle, and did we say she loves other dogs! She is still wary of humans. She is highly trainable and is responding well to positive reinforcement training. She LOVES playing in water. She will require a home with a 6' fenced yard. She will require a drag line after adoption for a while, even with a fenced yard. She does like to play keep away on occasion. But if she likes you, she comes when she is called. She will be a wonderful addition to a family with another dog. FENGEER and two of his sisters (Sweetheart and Bella) are part of a large, unexpected litter. They are a mix of GSD, Chocolate Lab, Bloodhound, Husky, Boreal and Anatolian Shepherd and will probably be about 80# full grown. He's very handsome, wants someone to love on him and will make a great pet once he's had some training. Fengeer is the alpha dog with the pups that are left and may continue to think he's the boss so maybe would be best without other males. The puppies have had to be in an outside kennel and have not had as much socialization as the owner would like but she's had her hands full with these pups and family matters. Owner says he does need a fenced yard. The pups are up to date on most of their shots but will need their rabies and will need neutered and the cost of that will be included in their adoption fee which will be $275 If you are interested in her or one of the other pups please fill out an adoption application and we'll hook you up with the owner as soon as you are approved.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.September 19, 2025, 8:04 pm
