IF YOU CAN SEE THIS POST, I AM STILL AVAILABLE AND LOOKING FOR MY FOREVER FAMILY Meet Dex! He's a 5 yr old German Shepherd who weighs 89 lbs. Dex enjoys playing fetch, running alongside the new buddies he’s meeting, and taking long walks. He allows you to groom him all over his body and really loves attention from his handlers!! He is improving his leash skills, and has been working hard with volunteers at the pound. Dex needs a home without cats and will need good secure home since he is quite the Houdini. He does like kids, and due to his happy exuberant nature we think he’d do best with older kids just because of how excited he can be. Dex can be dog selective so he would like to meet any potential dog family members you have to make sure it’s a good fit. Dex’s right eye was injured during an episode with a porcupine and had to be removed. He is still quite handsome, and looks like he's winking at you! He is being trained to walk on the left side of his handler so he can allow us to be his right eye. Dex may have one eye, but it doesn’t hold him back at all! Let’s help this handsome boy find a loving home. He would love to come to our adoption event on March 3rd in Vancouver if there is someone interested in meeting him! We got Miura back in march from a family that’s dogs accidentally had a litter of puppy’s. Miura will be 7 months old on August 3rd and is a German Shepard/ Malamute mix. We recently had to move and understand that we cannot give her the kind of life she deserves any more after making this change. She is a very sweet girl that loves all people and dogs. She is potty trained and knows basic commands like sit, shake, leave it, etc. We are looking for her to go to a home that has a yard for her and an owner that has experience with puppies or working dog breeds. She loves loves loves to play with the house and toys, but also loves being loved on by anyone and everyone. She gets along with other dogs, loves kids, and has never showed any signs of aggression. That being said she is a puppy so she is still pretty mouthy when she is being pet sometimes, full of energy, and needing more attention than your average dog.

A neighbor was needing someone to take his dog Jake and find a home for him. My husband and I are older and not able to give Jake the exercise he needs. Jake is 11 months old and is a pleaser, A lover, being raised by a man he prefers men but he does well with ladies to as my husband and I take care of him and he does well with us both. Jake is leash trained, basic commands, Will stay in his kennel all night and kennel trained, He does bark unless excited or absolutely necessary, loves tennis balls and soft Frisbees, needs at least two hours minimum exercise a day. He mouths as he is still a puppy but very gentle when he does. He loves kids, older kids preferred as he is 76 pounds. unknown with cats, he loves other dogs, we took him to get his rabies. Must be an experienced owner of Shepherds. If you want to have a faithful buddy Jake is ready.
