Story
Meet Cow! This little cutie was found as part of a larger litter that was rescued in late August at about 8 weeks old. She had been living in a parking lot and her and her siblings had begin getting into car engines and other dangerous spots before they got scooped up to safety. Since being rescued she has been fully socialized and received full vet care. Cow is a spunky, adorable, sweet and energetic girl. She loves to climb and definitely makes good use of cat trees. She also likes to snuggle up with the other cats in her foster home. She’s super sweet and friendly and purrs if you pet her. She doesn't mind if you pick her up, but if you show her a cat tree while you pick her up, she'll probably think you were just being her personal elevator. Cow loves to run around and chase toys and leaps into the air if you throw something for her. While not the traditional lap cat, Cow does enjoy quality time with people by sitting and snuggling up right next to you, and if she chooses to come sit or lay on you it is the utmost honor she can bestow upon you. Cow would do best in a home with other cats around who would like to snuggle and play after a proper introduction period. She likes to come up for human attention too, and will softly paw at you or meow to ask to play. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and is just a gem of a cat. She has never bitten or scratched and would do well with kids since she loves high energy play. Cow has been spayed, has her microchip, all three doses of FVRCP, and rabies vaccines. Her full medical records will be provided to her adopter.

Story
Meet Lightning! Lightning and his brother Thunder were rescued right before the big rainstorms that swept through Southern California in late November. These two brothers love to do everything together and are very bonded. Lightning is a the more shy of the two brothers. He takes a bit of time to warm up, but loves Churu treats and other cat friends. Lightning is very attached to his brother Thunder, and can usually be found snuggled up together or playing with toys together. Lightning is the chunky brother, but don't underestimate how strong he is! He loves to climb and jump and find little nooks to take a nap in. Puff balls, ropes and jingly toys totally absorb his attention. He loves to play with Thunder and they love to run around and play with their toys together. Thunder and Lightning are a bonded pair who will need to be adopted together, but both have also gotten along with other cats in their foster home. They approach other cats slowly at first, but once they know it's safe, they love to snuggle up to them whenever they get the chance. Thunder and Lightning can be adopted into a home where there are already cats. There is a reduced adoption fee for a bonded pair ($125 per kitten, $250 total, this is $50 less than our regular kitten adoption fee of $175). They are neutered, vaccinated for Rabies, FVRCP (3 of 3 doses given), microchipped, tested and are negative for FELV/FIV, and treated for fleas and dewormed. Lightning is a bit anxious and will need an experienced adopter to help him continue to come out of his shell. He is not hissy or aggressive, and as he warms up to you does allow petting and briefly being picked up. He has purred for pets for his current foster humans, but is easily startled. He would not be suitable for a home with small children due to his current needs. Please reach out for additional information.

Meet Thunder! Thunder and his brother Lighting were rescued right before the big rainstorms that swept through Southern California in late November. These two brothers love to do everything together and are very bonded. Thunder is the more confident of the two brothers. He takes a bit of time to warm up, but once he is comfortable he loves to headbutt your hand and will melt in your lap. He loves to be pet and is obsessed with Churu treats. Thunder might be small, but don't underestimate how high he can climb! He loves to hang out at the top of the cat tree and find little nooks to take a nap in. Puff balls and jingly toys totally absorb his attention. He loves to play with Lightning and they love to run around and play with their toys together. Thunder and Lightning are a bonded pair who will need to be adopted together, but both have also gotten along with other cats in their foster home. No exceptions will be made to adopt only one kitten from this bonded pair. Thunder and Lightning are some of the most bonded kittens we have seen come through our rescue. They would do best together and due to their age, they also would need to have the other as a developmentally appropriate playmate. Thunder is the snuggly lap cat of the two brothers and Lightning looks to Thunder to see what is safe or not. Thunder loves to curl up in your lap and snuggle, and he loves to play.
