She is loyal to her loved ones and very friendly around strangers, but she is also protective and playful. Basil is an incredibly curious dog who enjoys napping on the couch. She loves to cuddle up with her humans and protect them from any potential danger. While Basil's breed is unknown to us, we believe her to be a mix of Plott Hound and Pitbull Terrier and or some labrador retriever. Basil is 3 Years old. Story
Dakota is a young adult probably 3 years old. He weighs about 65 lb. When he arrived he was heartworm positive. He has completed treatment as is doing great. Dakota is friendly but can be distrustful of strangers at first. He walks well on leash and will sit when asked. He can pull a bit. I use a training collar on him. He is well mannered. He will jump up but I've not had him put his feet on me. He loves attention and enjoys going for hikes with me. He would become a devoted, protective companion. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy.
