Behr and his siblings were surrendered to a shelter at only 6 weeks old. They are currently 10-11 weeks old (9/4/24) and are healthy puppies in foster homes. Behr is working on housebreaking and crate training. He is being fostered with another dog and doing well. Behr would do well in most homes. LUCY is 7 months old, under 40 lbs still. She is what I call "fine wood looking". The brindles are so beautiful! She loves the other dogs at her foster home. Enjoys all toys with a special fondness for balls. She loves being petted and included in family activities. She is leash, crate, and house trained. Has been around kids 10 and up. She has not been cat tested but we can test if needed. She has not generated any negative feedback. Breed scan puts her at high percentage Plott Hound. Located in Camden, TN (West TN). Story

Bruce is a fabulous example of a forgiving and loving dog that was abandoned and found himself on the streets of a small town in Tennessee. He had nowhere to go and some kind people took him in to hold him safely while Critter Cavalry Rescue takes time to find him the best home ever. He is a Plott hound/Pit mix from what we can see in his markings and his stature. He is 2 years old and 65 pounds and he is one special dog that is so handsome and is truly a gentle giant! This boy has everything going for him with great house manners and housebroken as well. He crate trained and is living in a foster home in an apartment. He is a medium energy young man that gets along well with the other dog in his foster home. He loves play time outside, as well as being a snuggly couch potato. Bruce is learning to walk on leash and will need daily practice to stop pulling. He loves to ride in a car, likes carrots and ice cubes. When at home he loves to look out the window and will do that for hours. Recently he spent some time boarding and was a favorite with the staff and he demonstrated an ability to be very sweet and easy with some of the children of the staff members. The only NO about Bruce is that he is not fond of cats, so no feline siblings. He would probably do best with another gentle, playful dog of his same size. He would be fine being the only dog and always center of attention, too! Older children over 7 years of age might be best, but only because of his size. If you are looking for a best friend and/or family member to run, hike, play, explore, and then curl up for some couch time, Bruce is your guy! He is so beautiful and regal. He looks around like he is surveying his kingdom and hoping that all is well. You could really make his life a happy ending if you could consider adopting Bruce. Meet Valeera. This sweeet momma, her 3 pups and baby daddy, were all seized by animal control and taken out of a neglectful situation. Despite her past, she is happy and very friendly. Her Mommy days are over and she has been spayed and given a dental cleaning. Valeera gets along with other dogs and she is learning to walk well on a leash. We do not know what she thinks about cats. Valeera is about 2 years old and 50 pounds. Please help Valeera find the loving home she deserves. Update: Valeera tested positive for Lyme & Anaplasmosis, two common tick borne disease and has already completed her course of oral antibiotic. She is currently available for adoption and ready to go to her forever family. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).
