So my name is Artie and now I am healed up and looking for my furever REAL family. I am a great sized pup, 30# of fun and love and all kinds of playtime! I love to run and play, tug of war and keep away I excel at and the zoomies too! I am great with other dogs, and kids and am ok with cats but require a good introduction and experienced dog/cat introducer with monitoring as I may chase a kittie if it runs. So, I also have learned quite a few commands, sit, stay, crate, working on leave it. I am super smart AND MOTIVATED to help find my next best chapter. Daisy had a very rough life before coming to Pet Search… Daisy (6/3/2021) was a breeding dog. . She was bred and bred and bred to birth puppies that were used for bait or dog fighting. She escaped this life by breaking out of her enclosure and was rescued and brought to Pet Search. You would think this horrible life would produce a dog that is incapable of love. However, Daisy is one of the sweetest, most affectionate and loving dogs in the Pet Search program! Daisy thrives on love and attention… her whip of a tail is non stop and her butt wiggles are uncontrollably happy! Constant kisses and being a Velcro dog are her traits. She is great with other dogs and happily lives with cats in her foster home. We will never truly know how many litters Daisy birthed but she will not produce any more. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, 4DX negative and microchipped. This adorable girl loves everyone she meets and she deserves a second chance for a life of love that she was denied all her life. Meet handsome Lamar....this 2.5 year old plott hound/lab mix is 72 pounds of sweetness! He was picked up as a stray in St Thomas in February 2022 and spent months in the shelter where he shut down, not wanting to eat, walk or play. Neil, a volunteer at the shelter, fostered him and loved him until Neil left the island to work stateside. Instead of placing Lamar back in the shelter, the Pets With Wings Program brought him to Pet Search! Lamar loves other dogs and will thrive with a fur-sibling or two! and once he becomes comfortable, he will join and play, almost to the point of exhaustion! Lamar is very skittish when first meeting people and will bark out of anxiety, and will back away. After several weeks in foster care, he is warming up to his foster parents. Lamar needs time to adjust to new surroundings and will have accidents while feeling comfortable. He loves to sleep in bed or on a sofa, but is crate trained also. Lamar has shown no reactiveness to cats and would be a great playmate for older children due to his size and weight.
