Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hi friends! My name is **Wrangler**, and I’m a 4-month-old boy with an important announcement: **I LOVE WATER.** Like… if there’s a puddle, kiddie pool, creek, sprinkler, or anything remotely resembling water, I’m probably going to be in it. 😂 I’m a super goofy, comical little guy who thinks life is one big adventure. I’m **happy-go-lucky, curious, playful, and always ready to have a good time!** I’m pretty easygoing for a puppy and have **medium energy**. I love playing with my dog friends and I’m even **good with horses**! 🐴 So clearly, I’m destined for a family who likes a little bit of everything. I’m expected to be around **40-ish pounds when I’m all grown up**, which means I’ll be the perfect size for adventures without taking up the entire couch… although I’m making no promises about that last part. 😏 I’m just looking for my person—or family—who will let me be my goofy, water-loving self and grow up knowing how very loved I am. So… what do you say? **Want to be my forever adventure buddy?** ❤️ 🐾 4 months old 🐾 Handsome little dude 🐾 ~40 lbs full grown 🐾 Medium energy 🐾 Dog friendly 🐾 Horse friendly 🐾 Water enthusiast 🐾 Professional goofball 🤪 🐾 Happy-go-lucky personality **Love, Wrangler 🤠**

Hi I’m Floyd! Now that we met, can you love me? Like right now, pretty please?!? I really want to find my forever home and be there and loved for the rest of eternity! I promise to show you lots of appreciation and love in return if you share your heart and maybe your bed with me, and promise to pet me often!  My foster family says that I am the most appreciative and loyal of all the fosters they have ever had. I’m just so happy to be in a warm, safe, and soft place after almost a year at shelters and in boarding!    A little bit more about me…I’m about 4 and a half years old and am a Plott Hound. This means I love to smell all the smells and really enjoy being outside. I would love a fenced in yard to explore, but it isn’t necessary as I’m pretty laid back and willing to chill with you on the couch if you’d prefer - again if you’re petting me, I’m there! I enjoy when people visit the house and do great with company. I’m a people pleaser! I also do well home alone when you need to leave for work or events without me and am fully house broken.    My fosters say I’m smart - I’ve learned to sit, stay and give a paw in a short amount of time! I love these treats they give me and am happy to do as you wish for one!    My foster mom says I have a history of being dog selective. I’m not sure what that means really, but she thinks I would do best in a home with no other male dogs. While I love the kiddos at my foster house, I need a house with no kiddos.   I would be a great house protector for a single person or a third wheel to a couple. I could be active or relax the day away depending upon what my family wants to do! As long as you’re going to love me forever and pet me often, please submit an application!  ##2243697##

Men are from Mars :0 Remember that theory? Men from Mars and women from Venus?? So I AM MARS!! lol and I am a male!! SO MISUNDERSTOOD!! (all women rolling their eyes :) I am a big puppy... At the rescue again after being adopted in 2020!! :( I was returned by my "family" for something the rescue did before i left as a puppy- socialize me... SO, this is the thing... when you adopt a puppy especially, take the time to SOCIALIZE them all different situations and all different people and other animals.... it is your responsibility. WE committed to Mars so if his "family" gave up on him, we would not! He is back with the rescue and looking for his FOREVER HOME! Do NOT apply to adopt him if you are not committed to him, cause he deserves better!! He is a sweet and loving guy, active and BIG so must be a good leader and must keep him happy and exercised and loved!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Hello there, sorry for the wait ... My name is Doc and I'm here to see YOU actually! Let's see now, you say you're experiencing the lack of a fun loving companion dog in your life? You need to get out and go on walks more? And you say here that you have a huge backyard but no one to play in it with? These symptoms lead me to believe you're suffering from INAD syndrome ... also known as "I need a dog disease." and we have JUST the cure for you!!! I am a DOC :) Well, I think I can prescribe you something that'll help reduce these symptoms and get you back on track to healthy living.... here is what one of my admirers has to say about me ;) "Doc is a super playful dude and is soo happy to meet everyone he sees and just is an overall bouncing bundle of joy. He loves walks, pets and scratches, and loves to do sprints with you. When you're walking he will walk slightly ahead of you and is super excited to meet everyone. He'll try to pull but once he realizes you are not coming too fast he will do this cute little hop thing where he bounces between his front paws and his back paws, its adorable" That is quite an admirer, right??? If you'll just go ahead and sign here on my adoption papers, we can get started right now on your treatment!! Story
Meet handsome Lamar....this 2.5 year old plott hound/lab mix is 72 pounds of sweetness! He was picked up as a stray in St Thomas in February 2022 and spent months in the shelter where he shut down, not wanting to eat, walk or play. Neil, a volunteer at the shelter, fostered him and loved him until Neil left the island to work stateside. Instead of placing Lamar back in the shelter, the Pets With Wings Program brought him to Pet Search! Lamar loves other dogs and will thrive with a fur-sibling or two! and once he becomes comfortable, he will join and play, almost to the point of exhaustion! Lamar is very skittish when first meeting people and will bark out of anxiety, and will back away. After several weeks in foster care, he is warming up to his foster parents. Lamar needs time to adjust to new surroundings and will have accidents while feeling comfortable. He loves to sleep in bed or on a sofa, but is crate trained also. Lamar has shown no reactiveness to cats and would be a great playmate for older children due to his size and weight. Applications can he found at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Dog KL#03301 Washington PA 15301

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌸🐾 Meet Shirley — A Soft Soul with a Big Heart (and a Little Extra Fluff) 🐾🌸 Shirley is a June 2023 baby, weighing in at about 60 pounds — though her ideal weight is closer to 50 (she’s currently rocking that “well-loved” look 😄). She’s spayed, fully vetted, and comes with what can only be described as an impressively solid resume for a family dog. Shirley checks all the important boxes: ✅ Good with other dogs ✅ Great with kids ✅ House trained ✅ Up to date on vaccines ✅ Loyal, loving, and well-mannered ✅ Professional belly-rub enthusiast At first, Shirley can be a teeny bit shy — the kind of girl who likes to observe before jumping in — but give her a moment and she’ll melt right into you. Once she trusts you, she’s all about the belly rubs, quiet companionship, and loyal sidekick energy. She’s sweet, gentle, and has a calm presence that makes her a joy to be around. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the center of attention — she just wants to be near her people, soaking up love and offering it right back. Whether it’s lounging at your feet, joining you for a walk, or quietly supervising household activities, Shirley is happy just being part of a family. And yes… she could stand to lose a few pounds — but honestly, that just means more motivation to strap on that fitbit and getting your steps in... together, right? 😉 Shirley is ready for a home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished — a place where she can finally settle in and be someone’s “good girl” for life. Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Shirley the forever home she so deeply deserves. 🐾💖

Story
Meet Sawyer! At just 9 months old, Sawyer has already had quite a journey. This handsome boy showed up as a stray, frightened and alone. He was found cowering under a house, clearly terrified and completely lost. Despite every effort to find his family, no owner ever came forward, so now Sawyer is looking for the forever home he truly deserves. Our veterinarian believes Sawyer may be a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and at about 55 pounds already, he's going to be a big, athletic boy! Sawyer has spent the last several months learning that people can be trusted. He has blossomed in foster care and is proving to be a wonderful companion. He is crate trained, knows the commands "sit," "down," and "stay," and has excellent house manners. He always takes care of his potty business when he goes outside. One thing that's become clear is that Sawyer was likely an indoor family dog before he was lost. He enjoys playing outside, tossing his toys into the air and chasing after them, but he doesn't like being left outside by himself. The moment he thinks his person is going inside without him, he'll race to the door, eager to be with his family. Sawyer is incredibly smart and observant. He quickly learns routines and pays close attention to everything happening around him. At bedtime, he settles quietly in his crate without a peep. In the morning, he patiently waits until he hears everyone else getting up before he's ready to start his day. This sweet, goofy boy has a playful side that will keep you smiling. He loves chasing bugs (as long as they aren't chasing him! 😊), and the frogs in his foster home's yard haven't had a moment's peace since Sawyer Adoptions will take place at the North Fayette PetSmart in Robinson Township, PA. Our Rescue works side by side with that PetSmart! 💲 Adoption Fee: $350 The adoption fee includes: 🐶 Spay/neuter 💉 Vaccinations 🪱 Deworming ❤️ Current heartworm prevention 📍 Microchip
