Story
Meet Toffee she is about 7 months old, a plott hound mix, around 40lbs. She is shy at first and takes some time to warm up to people. However she loves other dogs, cats and kids! She would do best in a home with a playmate who is active as she loves to run and play. She can be easily startled by loud noise but we are working on that and she is doing great. She is house broken and crate trained (sometimes it takes some treats to get her in but she is fine once she is). She walks well on a leash and is super intelligent. She is starting to learn some basic commands and does best with a set schedule. Toffee loves tummy rubs and couch time! She is up to date on vaccines and spayed. She is being fostered in Hanover, PA Apply now at https://pinkdogrescue.org/application/ Hanover Pa LIC# 17216

Story
This handsome man Swiper arrived to the shelter as a stray and has since become a friend to the shelter staff. Swiper has energy for days and always perks up when someone walks by. As all hounds do, Swiper loves to follow his nose, and he also has a love for playing in the pool on hot summer days! Swiper is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, after a positive routine test. His treatment will continue for at least 3 months, but don`t let that stop you from taking him home today! If you are interested in meeting Swiper, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12p & 2p-5:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Complete an adoption application online to be pre-approved for adoption. If you do not own your home, bring consent from the property owner to have a dog on the property. As always, if you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption. Adoption fees: 6m and younger $250, 7m-5y $200, 6y-10y $150, 11y and older $100. Watch for adoption specials!! His adoption fee covers the cost of his heartworm treatment being done through HSCC.

Story
Jolene is a brindle beauty! She loves her people and has learned some improved leash manners. Jolene is still working on her self-control when she's out and on a leash. (Sometimes she's a little much when she sees other animals.) We think Jolene would be happiest as your only dog, so that she can have all the love and continue to learn how to make good choices.

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. Pepper is a sweet boy who has been waiting way too long for a home. He is about a year old. He is very affectionate and gets along well with other dogs. He is excellent with kids and previously lived with a toddler who he loved. Pepper is shy, calm, and laid back but also loves to play. He loves to snuggle too. He is almost fully house trained. He has not been around cats. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, heartworm tested negative, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. He is a good boy who deserves a home of his own! Story
Meet Tilly, she's a bit quirky at first but let me tell you about how amazing she is if you give her a little time to get to know you. She's a cuddle bug and loves to sleep right next to you at night. When you come home, Tilly is so excited her wiggle butt makes her whole body shake side to side. She's crate trained, housebroken, plays well with other dogs, and great on walks. She knows sit, down, stay and her release word. Loves to carry a stuffed animal around with her, she will need a few as some will not last very long. Tilly loves to chew on empty water bottles she steals from her foster sister. She signals at the back door to let you know she needs to potty and will sunbathe outside when you let her. The quirky, she needs time to get to know you. She is nervous around new people. Will need a slow intro to her new family with older kids. Tilly doesn't like fast movements when she is anxious until she finally warms up to you. Tilly is a local adoption only. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
