Story
Some dogs catch your eye right away, and Romero is definitely one of them. Between his striking markings and his smile, he has a way of turning heads wherever he goes. But there is so much more to Romero than his good looks. This 2 year old, happy, active boy is always ready for whatever the day has in store. Whether it's a long walk, a game of fetch, or exploring in the yard, Romero approaches life with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He would love a home that enjoys staying active and making memories together. One of Romero's favorite things in the world is spending time with other dogs. He lights up when he has canine friends to play with and would do wonderfully with another playful dog or a family committed to keeping him social and engaged. At the end of the day, Romero is looking for what every dog deserves: a family to love. In return, he will fill your days with laughter, loyalty, sloppy kisses, and the kind of companionship that makes every adventure a little better. Story
Meet Tabitha! 🍂🐾 Fall is just around the corner, and Tabitha is ready to find someone to enjoy all the cozy New England adventures with! This sweet young girl is friendly, active, and always happy when treats are involved. Whether it’s a walk through the crunchy leaves, a scenic fall hike, or curling up after a day of fun, Tabitha is ready to be your new autumn sidekick. Tabitha can be a little nervous when she first meets someone, but give her a little time (and maybe a tasty snack!), and her sweet personality starts to shine. She’s food motivated, eager to make friends, and loves spending time with other dogs. Tabitha is still new to us, so we’re learning more about her every day. So far, we know she’s a very sweet girl with lots of potential—and she’d love to find a family to fall in love with this season! 🍁

Story
Meet Hudson!Hudson is a 4-month-old, 25-pound mixed-breed pup who may have some Plott Hound in the mix. He joined BDC after a local animal control officer was asked to help rehome him when he was bought from a breeder to a couple who was living somewhere that didn`t allow dogs. Like a lot of people who take home a puppy, they also quickly learned that puppyhood is… a LOT. So Hudson found his way to BDC, and we’re determined to find him a family who is ready for all the fun, chaos, and hard work that comes with raising a puppy.Hudson is a very sweet, very typical puppy who is still figuring out how to be a dog in this big world. He’s working hard on his house training, crate training, leash skills, and basic manners, but he’s also still chewing things he shouldn’t, getting a little too excited, and occasionally failing to realize that what he really needs is a nap. In other words: he’s a puppy! He is still very early in his training journey, so his new family will need to be committed to continuing his positive-reinforcement training, including puppy classes, to help him grow into the well-adjusted family dog we know he can become.Hudson could live with teens and another playful, dog-savvy pup who is up for some puppy antics. He’ll need a family who has the time, patience, and energy to keep up with a growing puppy and help him learn all those important life skills. No cats, please, and no apartments. Hudson has a whole lot of growing up to do, but he’s off to a great start. Now he just needs the right family to help him along the way! He is available for adoption in Groton or Hopkinton, MA by appointment. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
adoption donation : $599 weight 38lbs Age 6 months       Charlie is a sweet and friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. She was found abandoned at a truckstop in a rural part of Mississippi and luckily rescued by Wags. At the rescue, she is having a blast running and playing with all the dogs, she just loves other pups! In the house, she is mellow and chill and loves to follow her Foster Mom around.  Charlie has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to travel to the northeast as soon as the weekend of August 9th. Charlie is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as she adjusts to a new home. She has beautiful and appeared to be a Catahola Leopard dog, very common in Mississippi and known to be very smart and loving dogs. Charlie is just the best, she will  make a wonderful  member of the family.    Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! BEING FOSTERED IN CT This cute little boy with brilliant blue eyes is full of fun and ready to share it with you! He is a typical puppy.... loves to meet new people, loves to play with other dogs, loves his toys, loves to snuggle and loves to give kisses. He is one big love bug! Luke is also very treat motivated, so will easily learn what you would like to teach him. Luke's foster mom says "He LOVES to play ball outside. He goes and goes, but when we come inside, will settle right down for a nap or grab a bone or another toy. He is great at entertaining himself. Luke is a fan of car rides and all the smells that accompany them and seems to treat every new experience as the best adventure ever! He is so wiggly and cute when greeting you. We are working on keeping paws on the ground, and on being a better leash walker right now." Luke is about 9 months old and 40lbs. He is neutered, up to date on vetting, microchipped, house trained and crate trained. If you would like to make Luke a part of your family email bigyellowgoose018@gmail.com for an application.
