We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. KHALEESI is a sweet PRINCESS dog friendly, playful and loves playtime. Humans have let her down ☹️. MEET CLYDE! Clyde is a young, active boy that came to us from Louisiana. Before traveling to us, he was fostered in a home where he was reported to be a great house guest! He was working on potty training, crate training, and some basic cues that he would love to continue to work on with an adopter through positive reinforcement training. So if you`re looking for an adventure buddy to welcome the spring season with, Clyde might be your pup! Check out his video: Clyde is currently up to date on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped and has been seen by our veterinarian. For more information on Clyde any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. Okie needs our help! He's a sweet Plott Hound who was rescued and cared for a man who didn't have the means to treat him so he was brought to a shelter in Louisiana who also is hurting for funds and have an overcrowding situation. Okie is coming to Save A Dog! He needs a leg amputation and we found a surgeon who will do it. We appreciate donations to help with Okie's transportation and surgery. He's a very adoptable five year old dog who has plenty of life left in him! We would love an adopter who either has tripod experience or is willing to learn. adoption donation : $599 weight 38lbs Age 6 months       Charlie is a sweet and friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. She was found abandoned at a truckstop in a rural part of Mississippi and luckily rescued by Wags. At the rescue, she is having a blast running and playing with all the dogs, she just loves other pups! In the house, she is mellow and chill and loves to follow her Foster Mom around.  Charlie has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to travel to the northeast as soon as the weekend of August 9th. Charlie is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as she adjusts to a new home. She has beautiful and appeared to be a Catahola Leopard dog, very common in Mississippi and known to be very smart and loving dogs. Charlie is just the best, she will  make a wonderful  member of the family.    Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! Meet Star! 🌟 Star is a 4-year-old Catahoula/Hound mix with a heart every bit as big as her personality. This girl has been through more than most dogs ever should - she was shot, and the bullet went through her jaw and ear. She underwent jaw surgery, and as a result, her tongue now hangs out permanently. But Star doesn’t let her past define her. She is pure resilience wrapped in sweetness. Star is incredibly affectionate and so happy-natured. She loves to run, explore, and play, but she also knows how to wind down and melt into you for snuggles - the perfect balance of fun and companionship. She does wonderfully with kids and gets along beautifully with other dogs, but would do best in a feline-free home as her instints may lead her to chase. She enjoys car rides and would make a wonderful adventure buddy for someone who wants a loyal co-pilot by their side. She’s very smart, already knows “sit,” and uses the doggie door like a total pro. Star is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find the family who will love her for the amazing, one-of-a-kind girl she is. If you’re looking for a dog with a beautiful soul and an even more beautiful spirit, Star is your girl. 💛🐾 RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up.
