Just look at this face! Between his stunning markings and that smile, we struggle sometimes to come up with the words to describe how handsome Romero is. He is a 2 year old, male, Plott Hound mixed breed. This active and happy guy is always ready for his next adventure. He loves to stay busy and would thrive in a home that enjoys walks, playtime, and getting out to explore the world together. Romero is especially fond of other dogs and truly shines when he has canine friends to run and play with. He would do wonderfully in a home with another playful dog or with a family committed to keeping him socially and physically engaged. In exchange, he will shower you with sloppy kisses and endless love.  ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. MEET PIXIE, look at that little squishy, lovable face! She is going to be on the smaller side of medium, she is playfully, cuddly and very sweet. She is asking for a family she can call her own, that will provide food, toys, a bed and lots lots of love and attention. This baby was left at a shelter 💔 she needs someone to save her and adopt her. ADOPT PIXIE

Story
Maple is a very sweet almost 4 year old dog. She has a lot of energy, and can take some time to settle down, but will. About once a week she pees inside, at this time for a reason unbeknownst to us and our vet. She is very good at staying home alone with our other dog while we are at work. Maybe someone with a farm, or a lot of acres, and more time to work out some of her energy would be better suited for her. She likes to run, and likes to cuddle - when she gets there. We sadly think our very sweet dog just needs a home that can give her a little more attention

This is a dog who was named perfectly! Happy is just that, happy! This sweet, joyful girl will bring a grin to your face and fill your home with love. Happy would love a doggy playmate and if possible fenced in yard to romp in, or perhaps doggy daycare as she is a medium - medium/high energy girl. She learns fast, but could use a little leash manners brush up! Happy is a snuggly girl who loves to hang out with people, she'd love to run errands or go on hikes with you. And her beautiful brindle coat shines as bright as her personality! Happy is about a year old, 50lbs, housebroken and crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vetting.
