All I want to do is to love you till my heart's content. I've got so much puppy in me, I need you to help me channel my energy. I am learning how to heel so you don't trip on me when you take me for a walk. Since I'm learning, a short leash helps to keep me be successfully heeling at your side. I am good at sitting and have learned to sit and be patient when you stop to chat.It takes me a few repetitions to learn something new, but when I get it, I really get it. What I don't have to learn is how to give you lots of love!

Max is a three year old gentle giant. He was rescued from an 11 acre ranch and I have been fostering him for two years. He has a very submissive personality that allows him to get along w/ any dog or cat, once introduced. He is crate trained and is up to date on all his vaccinations and heart worm prevention medication. He is due for his wellness check 6/30/24. Max is very mild-mannered. He listens and minds very well. He's trained to use a doggy door in my home but has adapted to being both inside and outside. He is not very active at all. He just wants to love on you and be taken for walks, car rides and lay by your side or near you. He uses a harness since he is about 55 lbs. Max has never liked toys, just snacks. I refer to Max as Ferdinand- he may appear big and has a loud bark when strangers approach but once he's introduced to people he warms up to everyone. Max will love you unconditionally. He is a good boy!

Hi, my name is Harvey! I’m an energetic, cuddle-loving dog with the heart of a puppy. I love balls, fluffy toys, sticks, paper, and even popping bubble wrap. I’ll find things in your yard that you didn’t even know were there. I have no sense of personal space because I believe the best thing is life is being close to the people I care about. If you’ll let me I’ll lay with you after a long day of work and keep your blankets warm at night. I love kids and showering them with attention, but my energy might be too much for small children at first. I get along great with friendly dogs, especially those who love to play. I’m not quite sure how to walk on a leash just yet, but I am working on it. I’de be great for homes with at most one other dog, and no cats. I’m not sure what to do around small dogs since my foster home only has medium to large dogs (40+ Ibs).

These 6 adorable puppies are available for pre adoption! While they each have their own unique qualities, they all absolutely love to be around people and play! We currently have 4 boys and 2 girls. The top row are the boys Zion, Jag, and Denali. The bottom row is boy Kai and girls Keira and Nani. All puppies are Catahoula Leopard Dog mixes and were born on 3/27/2024. We do not know their mom or dad, but we predict the puppies will be around 45-55 pounds when full grown. If you are interested in pre-adopting one of the puppies, please email the shelter at bahshelter@yahoo.com and leave a contact phone number for us to reach you at. Please do not call the shelter number about the puppies, email is the best way to contact us. Before the puppies are officially adopted, they will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on all the required vaccinations, and taking preventive flea/tick/heartworm medicine. As with all our dogs, the puppies must be indoor dogs, meaning they sleep in the home setting and do not live outside.
