Story
Introducing, Missy! Missy is 8 years old and 65 lbs. This sweet girl was surrendered to a rural animal shelter because her owners had too many dogs. We don't know what Missy's life was like before, but she definitely had many litters of puppies. Missy is currently living her best life in a wonderful foster home. She can be shy at first, but given a few days, her lovely personality will start to show. She has done well with other dogs (slow introductions are always suggested) and loves to run and play. Missy is housebroken, trustworthy when left home alone and great in the car. Interested in learning more about Missy? Apply at www.novapetsalive.org/adopt *Missy spayed, up to date on vaccines, was given monthly preventatives, and is microchipped.

Story
Cooper is a stunningly gorgeous seven-year-old brindle Plott Hound weighing about 62 pounds—and he’s every bit as wonderful as he looks. This handsome guy is the definition of chill: an affectionate, laid-back couch potato who’s happiest lounging by your side or soaking up a sunny spot. He’s fully house trained, doesn’t need a crate, and is an absolute dream inside the home. Cooper is easygoing, calm, and content just being part of the household, making him a truly low-maintenance companion. While he loves his downtime, Cooper would also enjoy a large yard where he can wander, sniff, and stretch out in the sun before heading back inside for a well-earned nap. If you’re looking for a relaxed, loving dog who fits perfectly into a peaceful home, Cooper may be your guy. Cooper is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $250 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Story
Meet Selkie 💫 Selkie is an absolute gem—beautiful inside and out, with a soft, shiny black-brown coat that feels like velvet (and inspired her name!). This smart, playful girl is already checking all the boxes and then some. She gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats, takes direction from both two-legged and four-legged friends, and loves to play. Selkie is very intelligent and food-motivated, making her easy and fun to train—she’s already sitting on demand! At home, Selkie is a dream. She sleeps through the night, loves her crate, and is settling in beautifully as she finds her confidence. One of her cutest quirks? She adores drinking from the water dispenser—lapping it up and even playfully biting at the stream. 🐾 She’s still new, so her foster is giving her a little time to fully show her habits, but so far she’s been nothing but a joy. Cute, smart, affectionate, and eager to learn—Selkie truly is the whole package. Don’t wait… snap her up quick! 💕 Selkie is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $475 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Meet Annie: the Social Butterfly in a Brindle Coat 🐾✨ At 5.5 years old and 55 pounds of pure huggable perfection, Annie is basically the hostess of every party she’s ever been to (and yes, she considers your living room a party). She’s a Plott Hound mix with a coat so stunning it deserves its own Instagram filter. Annie is a pro-level cuddler and firmly believes personal space is a myth invented by people who don’t know what they’re missing. She’s been thriving in her foster home, which is basically Grand Central Station, kids, guests, deliveries, you name it, and she’s loved every second of it. She’s polite on walks, excellent with people of all sizes, and will happily supervise your daily activities to ensure you’re doing them “right.” Whether your home is buzzing with life or you just want a gorgeous, snuggly sidekick, Annie’s ready to clock in. Adopt her and watch your “me time” become “we time”... forever. ❤️ Questions About this Animal? Please email hart90office@gmail.com View My Profile: https://new.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/HRT-A-239

Story
Please contact Paul Slebzak (pauls@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.young girl ready to play! CAMRYN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!    Come meet Camryn and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Feb. 8th) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Rockville (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)!       Name:  Camryn         Best Guess for Breed:  Plott hound and boxer mix   Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of December 2025        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 50 lbs as of 12/14/25 - she might be done growing or have just a bit more to grow!   Gets Along With:  Camryn has lived with dogs and cats in foster care! We haven't seen her with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Special Adoption Considerations: Camryn is shy and needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes.   Camryn is Looking For:   Romps in parks and world exploration by her new humans' side! This pretty girl is eager to burn off all that young-dog energy and make pup and people pals along the way. To get there, she needs extra patient and loving adopters who understand she hasn't seen enough of the world yet and needs a little more support to become comfortable in new environments. A friendly resident dog will show her how to dog too! Most of all, she wants to know where her home is, to know she's safe and loved for all her days. In exchange, she promises happy tail wags and loyal companionship and adoring gazes. What do you say? Does that sound like a fair trade to you? What My Foster Says About Me:   Camryn is a gentle, loving girl who’s blossoming more each day. She’s a sweet and sensitive pup who’s quickly learning that home life can be full of fun and comfort. She loves soft toys, playing tug, and curling up on the couch for snuggles. Camryn has also been great with other animals—she’s friendly with the resident cat and has started to enjoy playtime with her foster’s puppy. Inside, she’s doing wonderfully—no accidents and even sleeping quietly through the night in her crate. She’s food-motivated, which makes her a quick learner, and she’s already starting to explore the house with curiosity and confidence. Camryn is still gaining confidence in the great outdoors, but with time, patience, and continued positive experiences, she’ll thrive. She’s a wonderful mix of sweetness and bravery and will make a loving companion for someone ready to show her the world at her own pace. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
