Story
Australian Cattle Dog + Labrador Retriever Mix 10 months old Male 53 pounds Kids · Yes Dogs · Yes Cats · Dog-savvy cats What a wonderful family we would make! You, your loved ones, and me in the middle. All smiles and tail wags, I can see it now! I will need someone that is kind, treats me gently, and enjoys an active lifestyle but isn’t looking to rush me right into an agility competition. I mean, don’t count me out, I am just saying I have low self-esteem. I do get along great with other dogs, as long as they aren’t trying to be all macho…no one likes being pushed around! Cats are always sweet to me, though, and I wouldn’t mind living with them if they don’t mind big dogs. A family with kids will be great for me, just as long as they can understand that I need only gentle arms wrapped around me. I am pretty well versed in my crate training techniques, and it would be great to have this little room of my very own in my new home! So I’ll just be here thinking of you and waiting for my dreams to come true! You can be the “boss” of me now! 10 months old-53lbs. My adoption fee is $300 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
*fostered in Seattle, wa and ready for meet and greets* Hey my name is Samson and I’m one big boy. At 9 months old I’m am a whopping 75 lb. I might be some sort of grate Dane mix but with rescue it’s always a bit of a mystery. I currently live with my brother apollo and we LOVE to wrestle and goof off all day long. I am more on the shy side and take a bit to open up but once I do I am super friendly and love my people. Im still learning not to jump on people when I get excited but I just can’t help it when you become my favorite people. With how big I am and because I’m jumpy I would do best with older kids in the home. When I’m not getting attention I love to lean or sit on my humans feet till they start petting me. I dont know much of what personal space is so be ready for lots of cuddles. I currently live with a cat and love to play with it. If I can see the cat and am separated though I will bark till you release me to play. I don’t like it when the kittys swat at me and I’ll start barking at it if it does. I’ll do best in a home with a confident playful cat. My foster has done an amazing job with training us so let me tell you all about the stuff we know. I love car rides and hop right into the car. My foster has taught me the word wait when she opens the door to the car to unload us and we wait for our release word which is “unload”. I am crate trained and actually love hanging out in there when we have some down time. My foster currently crates is at night and while they are gone at work. They leave the doors open while they are around and if it’s not play time I’ll take my favorite toy to the crate and cuddle with it till the next adventure begins. Some other commands we know include. Sit, down, off, and come and our foster is currently teaching us stay. The biggest thing I will need work on is leash training. I’m a big puller but would absolutely love to go to some obedience classes with you. Now that you know all about me how bout adding me as your next family member? Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Adoption Fee - $75. Weight - 50 Pounds. Age - 1 Year Old. Koda is such a darling boy he is ready for a home to call his own! Koda is such an amazing boy he just unfortunately was given a bad hand, and by bad hand we mean bad owner. Koda was never socialized nor was he ever taught anything then he was dumped because they couldnt handle him. Since we have taken him in, he has become one of our most easy dogs to handle. He is only a year and a half and we belive that he is a Pointer mix He will go in the crate just fine and he listens when you give him commands. He is picking up some of his basic commands such as sit and stay and he walks decently on a leash. Since being dumped back to us he has been very strange and weary of most children, although some he is okay with. We do not know if the kids abused him or if being dumped caused his fearfulness towards other children. Koda can be shy around new people and takes some time to warm up but once he warms up he is such a big love bug. Koda would love to go to an active household that has a backyard for him to roam in. We have had him in the house a few times and he has done great so far! He loves to kick back and hangout with his people and he is a pretty silly boy once you really get to see his personality come out! He loves to be able to roam as he pleases he gets stressed in the crate. He is a good boy and doesn't get into things or chew anything up when we leave him out. If interested in adopting Koda Wullie, kindly fill out the adoption application found here: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions    May 27, 2023, 5:49 pm

Story
Marley came from Hawaii with a young man in the military being his owner. The owners situation changed and he needed to rehome Marley. We met Marley at a dog park and he was very friendly and played well with all the dogs there including mine. Marley was used to being an only dog as mine so they found a constant playmate in each other. Marley and my dog would compete for my attention and my dog has some special needs so he needs more attention. Marley needs his own owner, he doesn’t want to share. He’s very affectionate and loving but is becoming more and more aggressive with my dog.
