Story
Millie is a spunky 7 year old pointer mix looking for a new home. Sh is about 40 lbs and the perfect medium sized companion. She would be best suited for a home without young children or cats. She is ok with other dogs if they are more submissive. Millie loves to end the day laying across your lap and snuggling in. She is happy to walk a couple of times a day or run around in a fenced yard. Otherwise she happy as long as she has a soft surface to sleep on! She has some leash reactivity so would be best suited for an owner with some experience there. She has no health issues and is up to date on all her vaccines. Millie is a sweet gal with lots of love to give.

Story
Meet Betty White Breed: English Pointer / Terrier Mix Sex: Female DOB: March 9, 2021 Weight: 55 Pounds Health: Healthy and doing well Betty White is a beautiful, soulful girl with a heart as big as her smile. At four years old, she has the perfect balance of playful energy and loving companionship. Sadly, Betty White has been waiting at the rescue longer than many of the other dogs — quietly watching as others find homes while she patiently hopes someone will finally notice her. Dogs like Betty White are often the hidden gems of rescue: loyal, loving, and ready to give their whole hearts the moment someone gives them a chance. Personality Betty White is incredibly sweet, friendly, and affectionate. She greets people with a happy wagging tail and a loving nuzzle that instantly makes you feel welcome. She has a playful side and enjoys moments of activity, but she also knows how to settle down and enjoy quiet companionship. Betty White forms strong bonds with her people and is deeply loyal once she feels safe. Whether she’s playing, exploring, or cuddling up after a long day, she offers the kind of steady, comforting companionship that makes a house feel like home. Breed Info English Pointer and Terrier mixes often combine intelligence, curiosity, and devotion. Pointers tend to be affectionate and eager to please, while terriers add alertness, playfulness, and a spirited personality. Dogs with this mix enjoy both physical activity and mental engagement, making them wonderful companions for families who enjoy walks, outdoor time, and shared daily routines. Owner Responsibilities Betty White will thrive with an adopter who can provide daily companionship, regular walks, and opportunities for play and exploration. Positive reinforcement training will help strengthen her confidence and deepen the bond she forms with her new family. Dogs like Betty White do best when they are treated as true members of the household and included in everyday life. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before adopting Betty White, it’s important to think about long-term stability. Are pets allowed where you live now and in the future? If you move, will Betty White move with you? Do you have time each day for companionship, exercise, and engagement? Are you financially prepared for routine veterinary care, food, and unexpected medical needs? Adoption means committing to your dog through every stage of life. Vet Care Even though Betty White is healthy, adopters should establish care with their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption. This helps ensure ongoing preventative care and provides a trusted medical partner to support her long-term health. Understanding the 3-3-3 Rule Like most rescue dogs, Betty White will need time to adjust to her new environment. The first 3 days she may feel overwhelmed as she decompresses. The first 3 weeks she will begin learning your routine and feeling more secure. By 3 months, her confidence will grow and her loving personality will truly shine. Patience and consistency during this transition are key to building trust. Why Betty White? Betty White has waited patiently for someone to see the amazing dog she is. She is loving, loyal, playful, and ready to share her life with a family who will appreciate her gentle heart. For the right adopter, Betty White won’t just be a dog — she will be a devoted companion who fills your days with love, laughter, and loyalty.
