Story
Ruby is an adorable, energetic sweetheart who's looking for a family who can match her enthusiasm! Ruby is a 2-year-old Pointer x Jack Russell Terrier mix that came to us from an elderly owner who can no longer care for her due to health issues. We're finding that Ruby does best when she's involved in an active family lifestyle, including long daily walks. In the time that we've had her, she's enjoyed playing with a variety of toys and going on outdoor adventures- she likes to make everything into a game! Ruby is house- and crate-trained. However, she pulls while on walks and requires a training harness at the moment. She will also require willingness to work on obedience training, as her previous owner was not physically capable to train her on basic commands. We've begun to train her on the basics and, with right treats, she's a star pupil! She has been very friendly in introductions to people and other dogs, but we're not sure of how she'll do with cats and other small animals.

Story
Peggy is a petite girl weighing a whopping 25 lbs! She is approximately 11 months old. This gentle girl absolutely loves other dogs; big and small. She is currently being fostered in a sanctuary in south Texas, along the Texas/Mexico border. This amazing sanctuary is only a short term stop for this fur-baby until their forever home is found. Peggy was found in January of 2026 in a cemetery with about 12+ other dogs. She was fending for herself, finding food, water and shelter where and when she could. Peggy was the smallest of the bunch, so she was probably picked on a lot more than the other doggies. Her siblings are Hulk, Nebula, Wanda, Thor and Black Widow, who are also available for adoption! She is much calmer than the other dogs at the sanctuary. Peggy likes to play, but she also likes to just sit back and watch everyone else cause trouble. She will run along side of them, with sometimes joining in the rough housing. She likes to ref the other dogs by barking at them playing. Peggy would be great for a calmer household – play in the backyard with another dog and her toys. She is working on her leash training – she is crate trained. Peggy loves playing in the water and laying in the kiddy pool, cooling off. If you want a smaller doggy to stay by your side, to cuddle with and to enjoy the nice days outside – Peggy is a wonderful choice. Peggy is fixed (spayed/neutered), heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. PLEASE READ BELOW: To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY adopt in Central US and the East Coast. We are exploring to the PNW also! The adoption fee listed ($495) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the Northeast. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks: Albany, NY Wells, VT and Brattleboro, VT Nashua, NH Willington, CT - Stamford, CT - Dayville, CT Steubenville, OH – Cincinnati, OH – Grove City, OH Grove City, PA and Washington, PA Ridgefield, NJ and Mt Laurel, NJ Emmitsburg, MD and Elkton, MD Falls Church, VA and Glenn Allen, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home. With an approved application, we do put you in touch with the Texas foster who has the doggy for you to make sure the pup is the perfect fit.

Story
Louie is one of those puppies who makes it incredibly easy to fall in love. He is a very sweet, happy boy who loves being around his people and getting to be part of the fun. Louie does wonderfully with other dogs, is great with cats, and loves kids, making him a wonderful addition to just about any family. He has a gentle, loving personality and is always ready for some attention, playtime, or simply hanging out with his favorite people. And when Louie gets playful, he tends to forget what personal space is — he’s the kind of puppy who wants to be right in the middle of whatever is happening! If you’re looking for a sweet puppy with a wonderful temperament and plenty of love to give, Louie may be your perfect match!   ##2832674##

Story
Meet Cooper! He’s a 1 year old Great Dane/Pointer mix with the sweetest personality and the cutest goofy side. Cooper is friendly, affectionate, and loves being part of whatever you’re doing. He enjoys toys, chew bones, and hanging out with his people, but he also has a playful side and would love another dog to romp around with or a couple of walks each day to burn off some energy. He walks well on a leash and is doing great with both crate training and house training. Cooper gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy fit for many different kinds of families. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a forever home of his own. 🐾
