Story
My name is Robbie and I am puppy at heart and only 6 months old.  My pictures make me look big but ready I am not big at all. I only weigh 35 pounds at 6 months and they say I will be 65-70- pounds as an adult.  I LUV KIDS!   My heart leaps for joy when I See children that I can play with and love on.  I am a boy that loves to run fast and for a little bit of time too.  I need not only physical Exercise but also some fun games and training games to help my smart brain feel challenged too.  I need a fenced yard and someone To help share playtime and games with me sometimes.  I could use the company of another dog as well to help me with the physical Playtime outside and also to keep me active with socialization with other dogs.   We think that Robbie has some Pointer in him since He raises once leg and seems to point quite often during this outside playtime.  He is alert and very smart.   He walks pretty well on a leash and he is curious to learn more things about life.  He is not inside a lot so we would have to say that he could be housebroken fast if given some one on one Attention and training.  This boy is good with cats, dogs and adores children.  He never meets a stranger and he will needs a fenced yard To best live within safely and to run and play for long hours if the weather is good.  We want a wonderful dog savvy and loving family for Robbie.   He will be a 65 pounds boy when fully grown we think.   If you are interested in knowing more about Robbie please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Mention where you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN where we are based and we travel to the Northeastern region as well with our pre-adopted dogs.   Thank you for considering this precious boy   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Story
Toby is a smart, sweet, and absolutely handsome guy who’s sure to steal your heart. He’s not just a looker—he’s got the personality to match. Toby has a knack for making doggie friends, though he takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. He’s a huge fan of playtime, especially when it involves a game of fetch or romping around with his canine buddies. This attentive boy is a quick learner who knows basic commands and listens intently, making you feel like he truly understands every word you say. He walks beautifully on a leash and is eager to please, making him a joy to take on strolls. Just say the word “walk,” and watch his adorable head tilt in excitement! Toby’s playful side shines through when he watches other dogs on TV—yes, he’s a fan of doggy entertainment! He’s also learning to enjoy car rides and has been making progress every day. While he may need some reassurance in certain situations, like hearing gunshots in the distance or encountering new people, he quickly relaxes with a little love and guidance. He’s a lovable, ball-chasing companion who thrives on attention and affection. If you’re looking for a smart, attentive, and playful pup to add to your family, Toby might just be the perfect match. Come meet Toby—he can’t wait to find his forever home! www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz PA Kennel License: 10872 PO Box 406 Gilbertsville, PA 19525 ##909183##

KENNEL ID #18804 Pepper and Penny are best buds as they were relinquished together. If you consider both the adoption fee is the same. Pepper is 45 pounds of pure love! She is a wonderful dog and truly a good girl. It’s a miracle that Pepper is alive; she was just moments away from being euthanized at a high-kill facility in Tennessee. She was brought to the shelter along with her sidekick, Penny. Now, let’s find these sweet girls a loving home where they can live happily ever after! Pepper and Penny have been introduced to the resident cats in their foster home and have shown no aggression towards them. While they do tend to pull on the leash, it's not excessive. They are currently living with four other dogs in their foster home and are getting along well. Both dogs bark at squirrels and rabbits that come near the fence. They have also interacted positively with the foster mom’s granddaughter. They have accidents but for the most part, they are hous-trained. Overall, Penny and Pepper are excellent dogs and are both fully vetted. Overall, Penny and Pepper are excellent dogs and are both fully vetted. Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.6/16/25 Sancho Panza and his brother, Don Quixote, were strays and taken to a shelter. Unfortunately, their time was up at the shelter and they were going to be euthanized for space. Thankfully, we had spots open at the Arkansas Paws in Prison program, so we were able to take them into our rescue and place them at Paws in Prison!   We will continue to update this post as we receive more details and info on Sancho and how his training is going. He began at Paws in Prison on 6/9/25 so he will graduate the week of August 4th. We hope to have a home ready and waiting for him at that time!   Paws in prison is an amazing program where dogs are paired with inmates whom they are with 24/7 for 8 weeks. The inmates work with the dogs everyday on basic training, basic obedience, house training, leash training, etc. and even some tricks! They meet weekly with a certified dog trainer. This is a wonderful program and so beneficial for the dogs and the inmates!   Sancho is a good boy who is very food motivated and eager to learn, so training should come along nicely. He is very friendly and great with other dogs. Sancho has shown mild food aggression with his brother, which we are not sure if that is just because they are brothers or if he would be the same way with other dogs. This is something they will work on with him at Paws in Prison.  He does have some of the typical young pup behaviors like jumping for attention, etc. Paws in Prison will also work with him on this.    So far, Paws in Prison has said he is a very curious boy, friendly, and quick to learn. He has a freckled face and a white tipped tail!   He is young, about 7 months old. We do not know his breed but we believe he may be a Pointer mix. He currently weighs 37 pounds.    He is heartworm negative, microchipped, neutered, and UTD on vaccinations.     Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.  Harrisburg, PA 2am Fridays Port Jervis, NY 5am Fridays  Southington, CT 8am Fridays  East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays  To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
