Story
This is Bennie! He is a Dalmatian Pointer mix who loves to run around, jump and play- but if a bird comes by he goes full pointer and will make sure you see exactly what he’s looking at! He is a cuddle bug who is always looking to snuggle and play. He can be shy at times and jumps at loud sounds, but he is easily and quickly comforted with a pet. We adopted him at Prairie Paws in Grand Prairie, TX about 2 years ago when he was 5 months old. He is turning 3 years old this November. He would do well in a home with a family or with cats. He is very timid, so large dogs scare him and he tends to hide from dogs bigger than him. He does well with cats and kids! He is a sweetie looking for a loving and playful home.

Story
Meet Cora!Cora is a 6-year-old sweetheart with the perfect balance of independence and affection. She’s incredibly smart and already knows several commands like sit, stay, come, and crate. She’s eager to please and enjoys having a routine.Cora is equally happy lounging quietly on the floor near her people or relaxing on the couch by your side. but is also totally fine hanging out by herself when needed and would be fine staying home alone while her humans go to work. She is not destructive and settles easily. At night, she sleeps peacefully in her crate in a separate room without a fuss. She is 100% potty trained and hasn’t had a single accident indoors.Cora adores giving kisses, basking in the sun, and playing with plush or squeaky toys. One of her cutest habits is tossing her toy into the air and rolling onto her back with joy.She may bark at new people initially, but with a treat or two, she warms up quickly and shows her loving nature.Cora will thrive best as the only pet in the home.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
