Story
Meet Cora!Cora is a petite, playful sweetheart who looks like a little Bambi and has the energy to match! At five years old, she’s got just the right mix of spunk and sweetness—don’t let her age fool you, because she can hang with the best of them! She even plays with puppies, proving she’s young at heart and always up for some fun.Cora tolerates her crate (begrudgingly), but she’d much rather be out and about, spending time with her favorite people and dog pals. She tested heartworm positive, she completed her treatment on April 2, 2025. She tolerated the treatment very well. Now, she is as good as new and ready to take on life’s next adventure. Cora is up to date on all her vaccines and has been spayed. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and resilient little companion, Cora is your girl! To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

I`m very playful and love to get my energy out by running around with my siblings! I`d be very grateful if you made me your new family member and I`d even give you kisses in return for some belly rubs! I love to play with all of my toys, but my favorites are my Nylabone and Frisbee. I am already spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested and current on flea/tick prevention too! My dream would be to have a yard that i could run around in when i got the zoomies. My brother and I love to do that as much as we can , so I`d like to continue in my new home.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. Story
We rescued this dog, he was hanging around a grocery store in East, Texas. At the time we had land and a large home with no pet restrictions. We moved to the city and the house we have now has pet restrictions. This young little guy is full of energy, happy, playful and disciplined. He can be a bit hyper but just needs someone to play with him. He is house trained, he can sit and shake and is being groomed for greatness.
