If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at  https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/   Yoshi is a 1.5 year old male/female Pomeranian who weighs in at 11.6 pounds.  This dog's adoption fee is $500.  If you are still interested, please read more below. Yoshi takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. He has not had the best life. Prior to finding his way to ARF, Yoshi was dumped in the forest and then spent 6 days in animal control. Since coming to ARF he has been to the vet and neutered. He is doing well with house training and walks nicely on a leash. He is good with other dogs who aren’t too pushy and requires children to be over the age of 12. He has not been tested with cats. Yoshi learns quickly! He already knows sit and crate. He is learning stay and come. Yoshi loves to snuggle and play with toys. If you have a calm house, he is your boy! With a little time and training, he is sure to be a great dog. Yoshi is currently on Trazadone to help him settle in and adjust to everything he has experienced. Yoshi is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and neutered.  This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.  A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you are interested in adopting this dog, fill out an Online Application today!  Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   Thank you for considering a rescue pet from A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation! Ziggy came into rescue from a hoarding situation. He does okay with other small and medium dogs but prefers to be the center of attention. He would do best in a home where he is the only dog to be treated like the prince he is meant to be. He has been completely vetted and is house/crate trained. He is fostered near Knoxville, TN but transportation is included in the adoption fee. Transportation is provided by Rescue Riders LLC to a location near you. Please email for adoption application.

My original home would hit me and this left some scars on my heart. My last home said that I was loving and affectionate with them but also protective. Unfortunately, I just didn’t care for their cats and kids. I do get along with dogs. I can be pretty active and playful and enjoy a nice game of fetch. I also sit and give paw. Can you help me heal emotionnally, I promise to love you with all my heart!
