Dino here.As you can see from my pictures, I am an adorable little guy. They tell me I am an `adult`, maybe 3-5 yrs old but my philosophy is that age is just a number and I am a happy, go lucky little guy with puppy like energy.I love everyone I meet and always want to be a part of the action. If the hooman wants to pick me up or snuggle I will let them but really, I want to be on the go. There are 3 big dogs in my foster home, and I love to run and play and wrestle with them. I really hope my furever home has at least one playful dog.I have been told that going to the bathroom in the house is frowned upon and am working to remember to ask to go outside when nature calls. I am also trying to concentrate on learning some commands though it is hard with so much action to pay attention to but I`ll continue to practice. If I have to go in that thing, you call a crate, I will protest for a minute but settle down and fall sleep pretty quickly. To be honest I would much rather sleep under the dining room table, but I get it, sleeping in that thing is one of the rules of the house.The nice people taking care of me say I have something called Epilepsy. I have had some seizures in the past but now those are controlled with proper medication. Definitely doesn`t slow me down at all.If you are looking for a cute, little guy with a zest for life, I would love to meet you.We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog.Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don’t know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess.Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area. Goliath is a fancy little lad and he knows it! He's got a giant sized personality in the teeniest, fluffiest package, and it has never once occurred to him that he's actually not a mastiff. Goliath can take a minute to warm up to new people, but he absolutely LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a home with other canine companions to keep him company! Weight: 10.6 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Yes! They will potty outside every time or nearly every time (rarely has accidents). Crate-trained: Working on it! They will bark or vocalize for up to 30 minutes, but do eventually settle. Leash behavior: Working on it! They are still learning what the leash is all about and may have some behaviors that will require continued positive reinforcement training. Dog sociability: They love them! They thrive with a dog buddy and would love to live in a forever home with other dogs. Cat sociability: Unknown! They have never met a cat while in our care. Kid sociability: No kids, please! They are afraid of kids or reactive toward them, or they have a history of behaviors that make them incompatible with children. Dee Dee is a little dude with a big personality! When he's not sneaking sips from your glass of water, he can most often be found in a nearby lap. Dee Dee loves long walks and is unbothered by the sights and sounds of the big city! It can take him a little bit to warm up to new people, but once you're in, you're in for good - he never forgets a friendly face! Weight: 12.7 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Working on it! They're doing well on a schedule but will have occasional accidents in the home. Crate-trained: Working on it! They will bark or vocalize for up to 30 minutes, but do eventually settle. Leash behavior: Good! They enjoy walks and are easy to handle while on leash. Dog sociability: They love them! They thrive with a dog buddy and would love to live in a forever home with other dogs. Cat sociability: They do not do well with cats! Likes: Long walks, sneaking drinks of water from cups, snuggling with his people Dislikes: Huggers who don't ask first This animal has been diagnosed with a heart murmur. We recommend you work with your veterinarian to keep a close eye on this. Heart murmurs require special attention if this animal is to go under anesthesia for surgery or a dental cleaning.
