Hi folks! My name is Steve! I’m just 1-1/2 years old, I weigh about 15 pounds, and my foster mom thinks I might be a mix of long-haired Chihuahua with a dash of Pomeranian thrown in for good measure. Like many Chihuahuas, I get very attached to my "person" but am skeptical of strangers--which makes me a great watchdog! I like to play with little dogs like myself but am afraid of bigger dogs, so a playmate about my size would be the best match for me. I am full of fun and energy--but I also love to sleep quietly on my foster mom’s lap. I would enjoy a big safely fenced yard (no invisible fencing, please) and would prefer not to be a latchkey dog, so an adopter who works out of his/her home, is retired, or just works part time would be the best fit for me. My adoption fee is $300. Meet Loula (aka LouLou). She is a beautiful 6-month-old, Pomeranian/Rat Terrier mix and weighs around 9 lbs. We have been fostering her for a few weeks now. At &rst, she is shy around new people but does warm up quickly to women. She is fearful around men due to her past so she would do best with a female in her life. She is a super sweet and smart girl who loves to be with her humans. She loves to play with her toys and chase balls.We are working with her on potty training and crate training. She sleeps in her crate overnight and sleeps quietly throughout the night.She has several foster brothers (both big and small) that she enjoys playing with. She would do well in a home with another dog but also would do &ne on her own.Loula will be spayed, microchipped and UTD on all shots. All vetting and spaying is included in her adoption fee. The literal definition of a Pomeranian. Noah is a 3 yr old Pomeranian who just loves life. He came to me as an owner surrender, they did not understand the energy level & grooming needs of a dog like Noah. He has been the sweetest little guy since he came into my home. Always down to play, very toy & treat motivated. It seems like Noah was never allowed to be a puppy. He came from a home 3 kiddos & currently pals around with my 3yr old. He can get a little rough during play so direct supervision with younger kids is recommended, kids over 6yrs would be preferred. He doesn't care about my old man cat who doesn't do anything but sleep, however, Noah is VERY interested in my younger cat & will chase and sometimes corner him. My younger cat is quick & Noah likes to chase. He would do best with a slow introduction to household cats or a home with no cats. He does amazing in his crate. He gets kenneled while we are at work so my chill resident dogs can have a break from his playfulness. Noah will actually go in his kennel for meals and nap time while we are home. He is fully potty trained, no issues with marking or accidents inside. He does "happy sprinkle", if you pet him when he's excited he will sprinkle out some pee. I let him out of his kennel & right outside before I give him pets, it helps keep the sprinkles outside & shows him yes to potty before we say hello. He's delightful, I have nothing but great things to say.DATCP#483538
