Story
Chato needs a foster—or even better, a foster-to-adopt home Chato is a 1-year-old male pug mix and one of the many sweet dogs in East San Jose who’ve spent most of their young lives outdoors. His family is ended up  letting him go , as the husband recently suffered a serious head injury and is preparing for surgery, while the wife is balancing everything alone—including caring for their 2-year-old (whom Chato absolutely adored). We met Chato, and thanks to a kind offer for temporary housing, the family felt safe surrendering him to our rescue. Now, this little guy is ready for the next chapter: a loving foster home—or even better, a foster-to-adopt family. Chato is friendly, affectionate, and still has that puppy sweetness. He loves playing with other dogs and his toys, but more than anything, he loves being near people—likely because he didn’t get to spend much time indoors or close to humans, having lived and slept in an outdoor kennel. He’s now neutered and fully up to date on vaccines. If you can open your heart and home to Chato, even temporarily while we search for his forever family, please reach out. Story
Looks like: Pug Male, 3 years old (estimated), 15 pounds Don't let his blindness fool you! Biggie sees the world through his heart, and what he sees is LOVE. Biggie is a sweet Pug with a gentle soul and a big personality. Despite being blind, he navigates life with the help of his other senses and, of course, his favorite humans! This little guy is incredibly affectionate, fantastic with children, and great with other dogs. He's calm, cuddly, and happiest when he's near his people. Biggie would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day. He's a true companion dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side (or in your lap!). Whether it's naptime, playtime, or just being your shadow around the house, Biggie is all in. He's got so much love to give and is looking for a family who will cherish his unique needs and bottomless heart. If you're ready to welcome a sweet, special boy into your life, Biggie is ready to love you forever. This adorable, resilient guy joined us after his senior guardian could no longer care for him. He had some skin issues that needed care, but he's on track to have the most beautiful Pug fur soon!

Story
Behaviors observed by this animal leads us to state the following:Crosby is a spirited guy with playful energy. He loves to have fun and enjoys spending time with his people. However, Crosby does have some special needs that potential adopters should be aware of. He is a resource guarder, which means he can be very protective of his food and toys. With the right training and guidance, Crosby can learn to feel more secure and relaxed around his belongings. He would thrive in a patient home who understands his needs and is committed to helping him become the best version of himself.
