Story
JJ is a sweet, gentle pug who will be turning 2 years old this April. She has a calm, affectionate personality and has been a wonderful companion in a family environment. She is great with kids—patient, gentle, and loving—and enjoys being around people. JJ is friendly and does well with other dogs, especially in a calm and respectful setting. She enjoys short walks, relaxing at home, and staying close to her humans. JJ is in good health and has been well cared for. She thrives on routine, attention, and a loving environment where she can feel secure and part of the family. Due to major life changes and relocation, I’m no longer able to provide the long-term stability JJ deserves. This decision comes from a place of love and responsibility, with her best interest at heart. I am looking for a committed, responsible adopter who can offer JJ a safe, stable, and permanent home. Ideally, her new family will understand the pug temperament and be ready to treat her as a lifelong companion.

Story
Pug / Dachshund Mix Age: ≈ 4 years old Female, spayed 15 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Cheerio came to the Sacramento County Shelter underweight and with an embedded foxtail in her neck. It was removed surgically, but post-op they had trouble stopping the bleeding. She tested negative for any blood clotting disorder - perhaps the surgery nicked an artery? Eventually, the bleeding stopped, but it left her anemic. The shelter needed a rescue group that specializes in medical cases to continue addressing her veterinary needs. Over time in foster care, her anemia improved and she gained her weight back. She is a very friendly, sweet dog. She likes attention and affection from her foster parents and volunteers. She likes roughhousing with the younger, larger dogs in her foster home. She doesn’t like being confined or kept away from the activities of the home. Crate training would be pretty difficult - lots of barking. Apartment living may not be the best option for her. We have no experience with her as an only dog. We would recommend that she go to a home with other playful, friendly dogs. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. While he’s still decompressing and has a few medical needs we're helping him through, Mack is already showing us what a loving, cuddly companion he is! Mack lives for his three daily walks, rides like a champ in the car, and can snooze just about anywhere. He’s also been an absolute star when it comes to his eye and skin care routines — what a good boy! We have a few procedures planned to help Mack live his healthiest, happiest life, and he’ll be ready to meet his forever family very soon. Story
Meet Dumpling — our sweet, sun-loving goofball who runs entirely on solar power (and maybe just a little bit on snacks… okay, a lot on snacks!). This lovable girl adores people of all ages — adults, kids, and even the tiniest humans. She’s spent time with children as young as 6 and 8, soaking up their affection and happily joining in the fun. Dumpling is happiest when she’s out for a walk, basking in the sunshine, or curled up on a comfy bed dreaming about her next treat. She’s a certified food enthusiast — in her mind, every moment is the perfect time for a snack. While she’s not great with other dogs and has a strong prey drive toward small animals (dogs, cats, birds — anything littler than her), she’s a perfect only-pet companion. In return for your love, walks, and a steady supply of goodies, Dumpling will give you endless affection, big smiles, and the joy of sharing life with a true character. Please familiarize yourself with our Adoption Process: https://angelsfurryfriends.org/adoption-process/ If interested to schedule an Appointment to meet, please fill out Adoption application: https://angelsfurryfriends.org/adoption-application-dogs/ We are a small, all Volunteer Foster Based Rescue Group, we do not have a Shelter Location. Our animals are available for meets By APPOINTMENTS ONLY at Foster Homes in Bay Area
