Piggy is an affectionate, enthusiastic girl who is always ready to join in the fun. She loves being close to her people and is happiest when she’s part of the action. If you're going for a walk, she wants to go. If you're snuggling up to watch a movie, even better; she's ready to lounge. She's quick to match the pace of whatever is happening around her. Piggy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and would do well living with other dogs or being the only dog. She enjoys chew bones, chasing toys, and her absolute favorite is a frozen Kong. She's treat motivated, and quickly learned sit in her foster home. Piggy can be a little timid in new situations, but is quick to warm up when given time and space to explore at her own pace. She is doing well with potty training, and when given a consistent schedule, she has minimal accidents. Extreme cold or snowy weather can throw her off, so she’ll need someone understanding as she continues to adjust. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who just wants to love and be loved, Piggy might be your perfect match. She can’t wait to find a forever home where she can be by your side for fun and snuggles. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. She likes dogs his size, dog beds, laps, bones (to chew on), couches and toys. She will do best in an active home with children over 10 years of age. She is crate trained, loves car rides, walks and dog training. Not sure on exact adult size, but guessing no larger than a medium sized dog as parents are 25 lbs. No apartments please. This active, affectionate pup treats every walk like an adventure and every treat like buried treasure. He hasn’t quite mastered toys yet but throw a ball and he’ll chase it like it’s on his personal most-wanted list. Ringo is food motivated—he’d probably learn to do your taxes if you paid him in cheese. His leash manners and housetraining are still works in progress, especially when adjusting to a new space, but with consistency and patience, he quickly learns the ropes and settles in like a true gentleman. He’s working on crate training and does well when he thinks he’s flying solo—he’s still learning that crates can be cozy, not lonely. Ringo adores kids, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and greets every human like a long-lost friend. He’s a dream in the car, a snuggle pro on the couch, and would thrive as a social butterfly at the dog park.
