They are good with other dogs and people, and cats are unknown.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. This sweet boy is playful and loves his toys, but his favorite thing in the world is being close to his people-especially if that means curling up in your lap for some quality snuggle time. He's incredibly affectionate and happiest just hanging out by your side, making him the perfect cuddle buddy for cozy nights and relaxed days at home. Linden also does great with other dogs and enjoys having furry friends around. Linden rides well in the car, so he's always ready to tag along on adventures. He's currently 95% potty trained with an occassional accident here or there, fully crate trained, and working hard and doing great on leash walking ! She is currently in the early stages of kidney disease and needs a little extra care, but what she gives back in return is immeasurable. Meet Corrine, a sweet and happy little girl who has been the best mix of playful, affectionate, and easygoing. She gets playful bursts of energy and is regularly spotted having the backyard zoomies, but then wants to cuddle up and nap on the couch with her people whenever possible. Like a puppy that's 100% committed to everything she does, she falls asleep almost instantly which is evidenced by puppy snores and sleep toots echoing through the house (she's a real lady). More than anything, Corrine just wants to be included. She is happiest being part of everyday life, whether that means cuddling on the couch, riding along for a quick errand, playing outside with the neighbors, or visiting dog and human friends. She is confident in new places and so easygoing that bringing her along is natural. She truly thrives on human companionship and loves simply being near people. Corrine has been fostered around children ages 7–16 and also spent a long weekend with 1- and 4-year-olds. She has been respectful and tolerant with kids, happily letting them pet and play with her while ignoring the commotion. She is very willing to help clean up any food that happens to hit the floor and share all the toys (theirs and hers). Coco has been making good progress with crate and potty training. Outside, Corrine will entertain herself in the yard pouncing on leaves and bugs or watching the birds and neighbors. Inside, she will pounce from toy to toy while collecting them in her bed to later cuddle with. When she is feeling spunky, she'll let you know by wanting to work for treats or attention, or will start teasing you with toys to play a quick round of fetch. You'll know when she is happy, as she does the cutest little front paw dance-wave when she's excited or wants to show you how cute she is. Corrine is an incredibly special little girl, recently conquering puppy pneumonia that kept her feeling pretty sick for a long time. We are so happy she got to come to MN to get healthy and have the opportunity to share her cute antics. She’s looking for someone who will let her tag along for life's everyday adventures, give her plenty of cuddles, and maybe keep a little cheese handy. Corrine is estimated to be 6 months old and 20 lbs. Since we dont know the dogs actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, and have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Timon…If Pugs starred in the Lion King Timon is a young adult male pug with a glossy black coat. He does the best head tilts, as if he understands what is being said to him and is considering his response. Actually, he is more likely wondering how to scheme getting picked up for cuddles or how to convince you that he is starving - in danger of fading away into nothingness before your very eyes. Or…there is nothing but air behind his engaging brown eyes. 🤣 Despite his protests, Timon is chonky & needs to continue his weight loss journey for optimal health. This won’t be too difficult as, like most pugs, he is quite playful, active, a clown, liking toys, dogs, cats, people of all ages & sizes and FOOD! He will do almost anything to earn a tasty tidbit! Timon is crate trained & housebroken with a doggy door. He has seldom had an indoor potty “accident”. Although Timon came to the rescue with his BFF, Pumba, he would be fine as a solo dog, given lots of attention. (Such a hardship!) Pugs make great family dogs & will thrive in an apartment or house. Are you ready for Cronk? Cronk is a young adult male pug, almost sable in coloration. He came to the rescue from Laredo where he had a rough life, likely used for back yard breeding. Having now been neutered, as the hormones fade from his system, he will be able to focus with greater ease on other activities. He loves to cuddle, loves to eat, likes toys. He is a happy, sweet boy. He is crate trained & is 80-90% housebroken with a doggy door- quite an accomplishment as he was likely crated except when used as a stud. Although he is dog and cat friendly & loves all people of all ages, he would likely do best as a solo dog given his abusive past. Open up your heart & home to this gorgeous & sweet little pug, so deserving of a loving “furever” home for the next chapter of his life. Pumba….if pugs started in The Lion King😂 This young adult male fawn-colored pug strides with confidence & fortunately doesn’t share the storybook Pumba’s gassy issue! He is on the large & tall side for pugs (although he has slimmed down since arriving at his foster mom’s home). He has striking markings around his eyes that would make any eye-liner applying gal jealous. His forehead is a mass of wrinkles adding to his good looks & charm. Pumba’s personality is 100% pug. Happy, active, goofy, clingy, food obsessed, always up for a good time. He gets along with all living creatures of the 4- & 2- legged variety: dogs, cats, people of all ages. Although he came to the rescue with his BFF Timon, he would be just as pleased to be a solo dog. Pugs make great family dogs & thrive in house or apartment settings. Attributes: Doggy door trained.
