She is looking for an active mixed breed dog experienced family with a securely fenced yard. She will do best with another dog companion or an active family. She likes dogs his size, dog beds, laps, bones (to chew on), couches and toys. She will do best in an active home with children over 10 years of age. She is crate trained, loves car rides, walks and dog training. Not sure on exact adult size, but guessing no larger than a medium sized dog as parents are 25 lbs. No apartments please. Lily the Chug Are you looking for a small bundle of energy full of love, antics, & sass to liven up your home? Then look no farther than Lily the chug (3/4 pug, 1/4 chihuahua with a whole lotta chi attitude)! This long legged, grumpy faced little minx has adorable ears that either stand up at attention or rest crossed atop her head. Her overbite, often with her lip stuck on her teefers gives her adorable expressions. Lily has no enemies, loving to play-play-play with dogs & people of all ages & sizes. At her foster mom’s house, she cavorts with a 90# Great Pyrenees as much as she does with a pair of pugs. She’d also like to play with the cats, but she is too hyper for them & gets swatted. Lily does calm down to cuddle & actively seeks attention. Lily was a neglected outdoor pup until her surrender to God’s Dogs Rescue, so is still working on her housebreaking. Hi, I’m Francisco! I’m a gentle, goofy, and affectionate guy who may be a little shy when we first meet. I just need a few minutes to get comfortable and let you get on my level so I can decide you’re trustworthy. Once I warm up, I love attention and affection! My foster mom says I have an adorable old-man face that reminds her of her grandfather, which is how I got my name. I’m a pretty goofy guy, and I have a few funny quirks that make me extra special. I’m making good progress with potty training, learning basic manners, and working on my leash skills. I’m also learning that my kennel can be a positive place. I may let you know I’d rather be out, but I’m not especially loud and I’m learning to settle. I have moderate energy and love being outside. A home with a yard and a doggy door would be wonderful because I really enjoy outdoor time. There is one little catch: sometimes I decide I’m not ready to come inside! When my people come to get me, I have a hilarious habit of flopping over like someone unplugged me, which means I may need a little help heading back inside. Another friendly dog could help me feel more confident around new people, but it isn’t required. I haven’t met cats yet, but my foster family suspects I may do well with them. I’d do best with a patient family who will give me time to build confidence and continue learning. And the way to my heart? CHEESE! I’m not a fan of fruit or peanut butter, but cheese has my full approval. If I ever need medicine, cheese is definitely the way to go. Corrine is a friendly, affectionate, and happy little girl with the sweetest personality. Like any puppy, she has bursts of playful energy but overall she's surprisingly calm and easygoing. If there's one thing Corrine loves most, it's being close to her people. She wants to cuddle whenever she gets the chance and will happily curl up next to a person or another dog when it's time to nap. She's incredibly affectionate, so her ideal family will welcome a true snuggle bug who wants to be on the couch, in bed, and included in everyday life. She thrives on human companionship! Corrine is being fostered with 12 and 16 year-old children, along with several other dogs, and she's done wonderfully with everyone. She’s accustomed to kids coming and going—she loves their attention! She reads other dogs' social cues well and enjoys having canine companions. Corrine loves bringing her toys to her dog bed exploring the yard with her nose to the ground. She has an impressive sense of smell and has even started pointing at birds, which is adorable to watch! A true southern girl at heart (she’s from Kentucky!), she loves basking in the sun and exploring the great outdoors. She's making great progress with potty training. When she's taken outside regularly, she goes right away. Like any puppy, she'll continue to need consistency, patience, and a predictable routine as she learns. She will go on a potty pad if she can’t hold it in the house. Other fun facts: -Corrine rides in the car well, she lays on a blanket and is very calm. -She’s athletic and would love to go to a home where she can go for walks and be active. -Her coat is very thin, which means she’ll get cold quickly in the winter. A little sweater would be of great benefit to her when the temperatures drop. -Corrine loves to play fetch outside! She’s still learning to give the ball back after she retrieves it. -She’s treat motivated and will work hard for food, especially cheese! -When she’s playful and excited, she bounces around—she’s a true joy! Corrine is an incredibly special little girl who will reward her family with endless love and companionship. Corrine is estimated to be 5 months old and 16 lbs. Since we dont know the dogs actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, and have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. They are good with other dogs and people, and cats are unknown.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful.She recently arrived in MN.
