She is looking for an active mixed breed dog experienced family with a securely fenced yard. She will do best with another dog companion or an active family. She likes dogs his size, dog beds, laps, bones (to chew on), couches and toys. She will do best in an active home with children over 10 years of age. She is crate trained, loves car rides, walks and dog training. Not sure on exact adult size, but guessing no larger than a medium sized dog as parents are 25 lbs. No apartments please. Basement Babies - Coal Did you know that November 1st is a holiday? It is because it is my birthday and we will need to celebrate it every year!! I am one of 5 puppies who were born under a house to a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. It wasn’t really in a basement but it was a shelter from the cold and wind. Anyhow, mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. Some of us look like perhaps mom or even dad had some pug in them, as we have some of the coloring or the shorter mugs of a pug. But all of us are 100% adorable! I am the largest pup of the litter and the one who is a beautiful caramel color. I am very sweet and love to chase my siblings up and down the hallway to the room where our buddy, Busy Boots hangs out. She is great to play with and loves us puppies very much! I will be on the small side, depending on what genetic size my rambler dad brought, but I should be under 15-20 pounds fully grown. I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you? Anyhow, I won’t last long as I am adorable, if I do say so myself! Basement Puppies - Cinnamon Hello There! I am one of 5 puppies who were born under a house to a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. It wasn’t really in a basement but it was a shelter from the cold and wind. Anyhow, mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. If you're going for a walk, she wants to go. If you're snuggling up to watch a movie, even better; she's ready to lounge. She's quick to match the pace of whatever is happening around her. Piggy gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and would do well living with other dogs or being the only dog. She enjoys chew bones, chasing toys, and her absolute favorite is a frozen Kong. She's treat motivated, and quickly learned sit in her foster home. Piggy can be a little timid in new situations, but is quick to warm up when given time and space to explore at her own pace. She is doing well with potty training, and when given a consistent schedule, she has minimal accidents. Extreme cold or snowy weather can throw her off, so she’ll need someone understanding as she continues to adjust. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who just wants to love and be loved, Piggy might be your perfect match.
