Meet Dulce!Dulce is the sweetest little Pug mix! She is almost 4 months old and weighs 12 lbs. She will most likely be around 25 lbs fully grown. She has the cutest scruffy fur and curly tail.Dulce loves all dogs and people! She plays hard and naps harder. If she can’t find a human lap to nap on, she will snuggle up with any dog that will let her. She is perfectly crate trained and almost potty trained.Dulce would love to have another dog in her new home. She does need to work on leash training. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Buster! Buster was surrendered by his previous humans at just 1 years old and heartworm positive. It takes time for him to be comfortable and show his true self. Originally, he was terrified of humans. Now his tail wags for feedings, to go outside, and when ready to play. He is friendly with his foster’s furry kids and doesn’t mind the cats. This kid is ready to be loved by his furever family. We need to make sure you gave extra patience, so he can bloom with his family. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
When five-month-old Hercules arrived at a Dallas animal shelter as a stray, he had been ravaged by mange and worms, and had almost no fur. Fortunately, things are looking up for this adorable pug mix, who has a beautiful new coat, is living the carefree puppy life, and is showing his enthusiastic and social personality! In his leisure time, Hercules loves to visit the dog park and chase other dogs, go for walks, fetch balls, and play with plush and squeaky toys. Because he is a total smarty pants who is also treat-motivated, Hercules has quickly mastered potty training and a variety of commands including sit, stay, and fetch. He sleeps soundly in a playpen through the night, and doesn’t snore. Due to his youthful age, Hercules’ ideal forever family will have at least one person at home most of the time to provide him with consistent exercise, training, and socialization. Because he enjoys the company of other dogs, he would be the best match for a family that has another friendly and playful dog at home or that can bring him to a dog park or dog daycare frequently. In classical mythology, Hercules was famous for his strength and for his far-ranging adventures. We think that this strong boy has more than lived up to his name, and now he’s ready to have far-ranging adventures with a loving family! If you’d like to adopt Hercules, apply for him at dfwpugs.com.

Story
Seven-year-old Peggy is outgoing, energetic, confident, and a total boss babe. Despite being blind, she has no problem with taking charge and making her opinions known! Peggy navigates her foster home with ease and enjoys spending time with people, other dogs, and cats. Her favorite activities include following her people around the house, playing and cuddling with other dogs, chasing balls, chewing on toys, and going for walks. When it’s time to recharge, she snoozes soundly in her crate and snores loudly. She is housetrained, can use a doggie door, and eats her meals politely. Peggy requires daily eye drops to keep her peepers feeling fresh. Her ideal forever family will provide her with plenty of companionship from people and other dogs, and create a safe environment with her visual impairment in mind. If you’re inspired by bold, fearless, loving, and loyal ladies, Peggy might be your perfect match! Apply for her at dfwpugs.com.
