Story
Five-year-old Tic Tac is a charming, fawn winky pug with a heart as big as his bark! While he can be a little cautious at first, once he warms up, this Velcro pug loves nothing more than cuddling up next to his favorite person and showering them with kisses. Tic Tac enjoys toys, puzzle games, and snuffle mats—and occasionally shows off his silly side by proudly parading around with socks or shoes he’s “borrowed.” He is about 90% house-trained, crate-trained (though he’s not a fan of it), and walks well on a leash—just be sure his harness is snug because he’s been known to wiggle out when something’s caught his interest! Tic Tac gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, but he’d prefer a home with a canine buddy and patient humans who understand he sees the world a little differently due to limited vision. If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly companion with a goofy streak, Tic Tac is your guy! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. To learn more or apply, visit www.dfwpugs.com.

Story
Seven-year-old Peggy is a sweet, fawn beauty with a happy-go-lucky attitude and a heart full of love. This laid-back lady adores being around other dogs and is happiest when surrounded by furry friends and her people. She is the definition of “go-with-the-flow” — gentle, easygoing, and always ready for a good cuddle or a leisurely stroll. Peggy is house-trained, crate-trained, and uses a dog door like a pro. She’s polite at mealtime and not food aggressive, though she’ll happily supervise if someone else is getting a treat. She enjoys toys most when another pup shows interest — she’s a bit of a playful copycat! Peggy also gets along wonderfully with children, especially her foster’s young niece. She takes tacrolimus eye drops twice a day and moisture drops as needed, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. If you’re looking for a calm, joyful companion to brighten your home, Peggy’s your girl! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
One-year-old Ottis is a lively, fawn boy with boundless energy and even bigger heart. Tall, lean, and always on the move, he’s a playful whirlwind who loves fetch, toys of every kind, and any creature willing to play—dogs, cats, humans… everyone is invited. In the evenings, Ottis flips the switch from athlete to cuddlebug and will happily shower you with kisses (he’s very generous with them!). Ottis is mostly house-trained and finds a consistent routine and belly bands helpful during training. He’s crate-trained and does great although he prefers sleeping in bed with his people. He walks well on leash, eats enthusiastically, and enjoys mealtime best when fed separately. Ottis can play a little rough due to his youthful enthusiasm, but he responds well to gentle reminders. Ottis would thrive in an active home with teens or older kids and a playful companion—or humans ready to keep up with his fun-loving spirit. If you’re looking for a sweet, high-energy adventurer who plays hard and loves harder, Ottis is ready to explore life with you! ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption. Story
Seven-to-eight-year-old Moka is a laid-back fawn gentleman who enjoys quiet days lounging on the couch or snoozing in his bed. Once he knows you, he becomes wonderfully sweet, cuddly, and devoted—a gentle shadow who likes to follow his person around. Though mostly calm, he occasionally surprises everyone with adorable bursts of play, especially with a stuffed toy or his foster’s puppy. Moka is house-trained, has excellent mealtime manners (aside from politely barking for faster service), and learned the dog door in just a day and a half despite being mostly blind. He walks well on a leash, though at a relaxed pace, and sleeps happily on the couch with his canine foster siblings. Moka gets along beautifully with dogs, does well with kids, and could be an only dog or join a calm canine household. He just needs daily eye drops to keep him comfortable. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving companion, Moka might be just for you! ****** All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
This is Pudding! I took her in about a week ago. I got her from a family that severely neglected her and did not want her anymore. Unfortunately, with little care from her current owners she got diagnosed with early onset heart warms. The treatment has already been covered. Heart warm is not transferable to other animals. She is not spayed yet but I know of affordable options to do so. She is rambunctious, silly, and very loving. She is not fully potty trained and will require work in that area. She does chew on things when bored so walks and toys are essential. She is an indoor dog and is kennel trained. I really need to find her a good home soon. She required of fenced in yard with no gaps due to wanting to explore. Walks daily are important and will lesson her chances of wanting to run about. Please contact me if interested. I don’t expect a fee at all. Just a loving home whose owners are home often and willing to work with her.
