Hi I am Jake! My foster mom says that I love my stuffed toys and like to shake them around and play tug of war with them. I am crate trained and know the command "sit." My foster mom says that I am potty trained as long as I am contained in a smaller area rather than having run of the whole house. I still tend to try and mark if not supervised. I do have glaucoma which requires me to get an eye drop in each eye twice a day for the rest of my life. My foster mom says that I will do best in a home with small dogs. My foster mom says that I need supervision when in the yard. I do not like being left out by myself to go potty and I will let you know! A/C is my friend so believe me, I am an indoor loving dog! We are elderly. We got this puppy from a neighbor to help with our highly anxious senior dog when we left for doctors offices etc. Our large 9 yr old dog has separation anxiety bad. The new pup was tiny and adorable. I didn't even ask what breed she was. We have always had low shedding dogs. Because her mother is full blooded pug, Poppi sheds a lot. A lot. We are not use to that. We have never allowed her on the furniture. She is energetic, loves to play and is very sweet. Her energy does not match our old senior dogs laid back self. Poppi is sassy-a great watchdog. Sleeps in her kennel at night. Is use to a dog door. Inside outside dog. We need a pet with less energy. She loves to ride in the car. We love her-honestly-she just adds a lot of stress to our senior selves.

My name is Junebug.   I am around 5-6 years old and am a bulldog or maybe a bulldog mix. My favorite activities are lounging, eating, and belly rubs!  Although I’m 65 pounds, I would love nothing more than to sit in your lap and stream your favorite show!  I love snuggles and would prefer to be the only dog in the home receiving them.  I’m a sweet, goofy girl that loves a routine.  At times,  I can get over-excited but I’m easily corrected. I can also be a little bossy so someone who has dog experience and can properly correct me would be good.  A home with adults only would be the ideal fit for me. He was rescued from a Houston shelter and he has been great at boardings and foster homes. Like all bulldogs, breed experience is mandatory to adopt our bulldogs. Koda is very calm, gentle, and velcro pup. He likes to stay with his human, and is a velcro pup. He loves his chew toys and treats. We are working with him on commands, and he is slowly making progress. Otis is great on leash with very little pulling and no interest in other dogs while walking (i.e. no lunging). When he wants pets, he will nudge his face into your arms and very gently wave his paw.
