This energetic boy loves his toys and takes his self-appointed job of protecting the yard from bunnies, squirrels, birds, and even rogue leaves very seriously. He’s a true zoomie professional, both indoors and out, and would thrive in a home with another playful dog to burn off his energy (but no cats, please—he finds them far too interesting). Jay does best when meals are served on opposite sides of the room from his furry siblings, and he’s kennel trained—though his favorite sleeping spot is definitely the bed with his human. Fair warning: a little snoring may be included. He walks fairly well on a leash but pulls with enthusiasm, eager to explore everything the world has to offer. He’s great with the dog-savvy 3-year-old granddaughter in his foster home, but because Jay can get excited and zoom right past little ones, a home with older or dog-savvy kids (and no fragile seniors) would be ideal.
