Story
Hi, my name is Ozzie, and I am a 1.5 years old. 16 lb Pug. Before I came to Humane Tomorrow, I was living with 5 other Pugs, all relatives of some kind, together in a house. We never went outside of the house, and I know now what a mess and how unhealthy that was. Now I am in a foster home, with other dogs, but we go outside into a yard, and my foster family has been teaching me what doggies are supposed to do. I’ve learned a lot in the last few months, but still have more to learn. I’m a little mouthy – using my mouth and teeth sometimes (just to play), but still probably not a good fit with young kids. I’ve discovered that I especially like to play tug with my people, but sometimes I get a little overstimulated when I play. So, just let me win and call the game! I get along well with the other dogs in the household most of the time, and have discovered I like to chew on nylabones. I like to sit with my people, cuddling with them and sometimes I like to get up high on the top of chairs so I get a view of everything around me. I am still getting used to this thing around my neck (collar) and walking on a leash, but I like it in my foster home with all the attention I’m getting. I am crate trained, but any new home will need to continue my house training. I’ve been wearing a belly band while I figure things out. If you are interested in me, please complete an application and one of the adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
7-year-old Legend is a sweet, easygoing fawn boy with a playful spark and a heart full of love. He adapts quickly to new people and places, enjoys playtime, and then happily settles in for cozy cuddles—especially on the couch or by your feet. Legend is house-trained, leash-trained, and a respectful eater with no food aggression. He’s free-roam trustworthy and sleeps soundly in bed with his humans. He enjoys plush toys (especially Lamb Chop!), puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and a good chew like a Nylabone. He does well with cats. He would do well in a home as either an only dog or with canine companions, and would thrive with someone who enjoys a relaxed, affectionate companion. He hasn’t met children yet but has a gentle, adaptable nature. He may need occasional eye lubricant, and sometimes bunny hop if his back legs feel weak while they regain strength. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key best friend—Legend lives up to his name. ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption. Story
DNA results are in for Tater and he is 61% Bulldog along with small percentages of 12 other breeds. Tater is a loyal, loving dog who’s happiest just being near his people. He is fantastic with kids and forms strong bonds with his people. Tater enjoys daily walks and does well on a leash. He’s potty trained, kennel trained, and has full run of his foster home because he’s respectful and non-destructive. He’s an easy dog to live with and loves a calm routine where he can relax and spend time with his humans. Tater would do best as the only pet, as he can be selective with other dogs. Tater is 5½ years old and weighs 55 lbs. If you are interested in adopting Tater, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days.*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption feeDogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption feeRescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Story
We received Toby’s DNA results and we are shocked! We were guessing he was a Lab/Pit Bull mix, but according to Wisdom Panel, he’s actually a mix of 15 different breeds, with his top two breeds being 34% Bluetick Coonhound and 18% Boston Terrier. Toby attended his first adoption event this past weekend and did fantastic! He is such an easygoing, friendly, and happy boy who seems to enjoy meeting everyone he encounters. Toby turns 8 years old on the 16th, and the best birthday present would be finding his forever home. He is fully potty trained, nondestructive, and doesn’t require a kennel when left alone. He gets along great with other dogs and even did well with cats during his time in boarding. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance dog who is past the puppy stage but still has plenty of love and life ahead of him, Toby may be the perfect fit. Apply to adopt him today at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. Story
Harley is a smart, treat-motivated girl who enjoys learning and is always eager to please. She is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside by barking and heading to the door. She has experience sleeping both in a kennel and outside of one at night and settles in well at home. This sweet girl loves walks, car rides, toys, and spending time with her people. She also enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely do best with a medium to large playful canine companion. Harley has a playful, mouthy play style and is continuing to work on her manners, so a home without children under 13 years of age would be best. Harley can be sensitive to noises at times, and shy when she first meets someone new, but she has gained confidence and improved significantly while in foster care. She has never shown aggression and continues to make great progress as she learns that the world is a safe place. Harley is a 4 year old Pit Bull Terrier/Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is ready to find her forever family. To apply to adopt Harley, please complete an adoption application at www.rescuerowinc.org Due to her breed makeup, no apartments please. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex.
