Story
Hello, my name is Lola! I am a 3 year old Pug that weighs approx. 12lbs. I was surrendered due to my previous home no longer being able to care for me. I am now looking for my FURever home, could that be you? I am active girl that enjoys playing with my people and going for walks when the weather is nice. I did previously share a home with dogs, cats, and children. If you have another dog in a home, a meet and greet is always recommended prior to adoption. If you are interested in making me part of your family, please submit an adoption application located here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ RAC staff will reach out to schedule a meet and greet with approved applicants. My adoption fee is $125 which includes my spay, rabies, microchip, basic yearly boosters, and heartworm test. I will be required to return to RAC on Wednesday, 7/17/24 for my spay, rabies, and heartworm test. The date is non-negotiable and is a part of the adoption contract.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. July 12, 2024, 8:29 pm

Story
Meet sweet Puglsey!  Pugsley is around 3 years old.  We named him Pugsley Addams because he came to us around Halloween time.  His favorite pastime is to follow you around the house.  He wants to have you in his line of sight all the time.  He loves to cuddle and will be a wonderful companion dog to anyone.  He enjoys his daily walks and walks well on leash.  He is good with cats.  He would be happier if he is the only dog at home. Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit from an RHS representative. Apply. You can complete an application at an MTP event or complete it online by either clicking the button below or the “Adopt” button beneath the pet’s photo in the listings above. Phone Interview or Attend a Meet the Pets (MTP) event. This is a great opportunity to meet the pet you are interested in and see if you connect. We hold these events once a month on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. We post the pets who are expected to attend on Friday evening on our Facebook page. For exact details and locations, view our event calendar. If an event is over a week away, a counselor may contact you for a phone interview. Home Visit. If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will set up a home visit where you can meet the pet you are interested in again and the pet can meet other pets in the family. We will try to send the foster parent so you can learn more about how the pet is in a home environment. Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at MTP or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs, $300 for puppies (under 1 year) and $125 for cats. Discounts are available for senior-aged pets. APPLY HERE: www.richardsonhumanesociety.org ##1553556##

DNA results are in for Kona! Per Wisdom Panel he is a mix of 11 different breeds, with the top 4 breeds being Pug, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Miniature American Shepherd and Australian Shepherd. His foster mom reports that Kona is sweet, spunky, sassy and has a super big personality! He currently weighs 8 lbs and is 10 weeks old and is estimated to weigh between 18-31 lbs when full grown. We are now accepting applications for pre adoption at www.rescuerowinc.org Update 6/6/2024 Kona’s foster mom took him for a quick visit to Hollywood Feed. She said he needed a fancy bow tie to fit his big personality! Kona is eating and sleeping great, and his fosters have started teaching him all the basic puppy manners. He is about 5 weeks old. Once we receive his DNA results, Kona will become available for pre-adoption! Recently, a kind person came across someone giving away free puppies. Out of a litter of 7, there was only one left. They immediately got their hands on the last pup and reached out to us for help. Please help us welcome Kona to Rescue Row! This little guy is settling into his foster home and already doing so well. We will update the page with his progress! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2077956##

Nim came to is as a breeder release. His mom has been adopted and he is now ready to find his forever home. Nim is super playful and would do best in a home with another dog to play with. We expect that he will stay on the small side so young children would not be the best situation for him. Nim is a year old and his adoption fee is $400. ##1725829##
