RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws Rescue and Sanctuary and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs/ cats from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each pet will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up your pet. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the pet. Meet Ladybug aka Ladypug by her foster mom, who says she is absolutely adorable and perfect -just look at her! This beautiful senior is more than meets the eye! Ladybug is a gem! She is house trained and plays well with other dogs and of course, her humans! At just 11, she still has plenty of pep in her step! She is inquisitive, snuggly and exudes love! Whiskey is a high-energy, fun-loving and cuddly pug/min-pin. She loves attention and is great with kids. She would most likely need time to warm up to another pet because she is a bit timid but never aggressive towards animals or people. I am placing her with a rehoming fee that includes her kennel, and toys and a bag of food. Most importantly, the decision to rehome is because I just don’t have the time I used to have for her before having a baby and my child’s needs are increasing and my time for my pup is limited. She deserves to play all day until she passes out with her tongue out. I got her from a family friend who moved out of state and fell in love with her but things unfortunately changed.

Pip is the Energizer Bunny in a dog's body! Under this cute, scrunchy face is a smart, active, Alpha dog. He loves other dogs and playing fetch. He is a quick learner-knows "sit" and "shake", working on "stay" and "lie down", great eye contact and focus to learn, his love of treats and toys helps a lot! He is fantastic in the car, so if you are looking for a dog for adventure-running, hiking, travel, this is the guy for you. He's not a big snuggler or couch potato, he's active 95% of the time. The ideal home for him would be one with a fenced yard, great with kids but older kids would be best due to his need for activity and high energy playfulness. Dog friends would be great, he definitely needs a very active environment, cats would not be a great fit for him. Housebroken and crate trained. Avie is new but she’s shown us that she’s a great gal. She learned how to sit quickly & is making progress on shaking hands. She is beautiful & has a very soft coat. She is attracted to kids & wiggles all over when she sees them!! Her favorite time of the day is when she’s in a yard & she has a toy to play with. Story
Primrose, Princeton and Percival's mom was abandoned at a home when her previous owners moved out. She was left out on a chain to fend for herself. Luckily the neighbors realized she had been left behind and took her in. She was in horrible physical condition and pregnant by to neighborhood stray (a black lab) that would jump the fence when she was in heat. It was reported by the neighbors that these 2 had had multiple litters together but none of the puppies ever survived. The neighbors children fell in love with mom and they are keeping her but needed help rehoming her very last litter (we assisted in getting her spayed). These pups are the most laid back and chill group I have ever seen.

Gigi is a loving, affectionate, and often cuddly dog who wants nothing more than to snuggle next to you all curled up in a ball and to be where you are at all times. She will thrive with a person or family who can give her a bit of room to roam, regular long walks, and attention. Gigi is so calm in her snuggly state that she has even sat in a ball up on someone’s desk, and a recliner or couch or bed or floor are all equally fine to her. Gigi does well with older children, say 6 and older. She has allowed herself to be dressed up to play with them. When around other dogs or outside she is an active explorer and can be very enthusiastic about where she wants to go (note: this translates to pulling that can be quite sudden or hard, so she should only be walked be someone experienced who can manage a sudden strong jerk on the leash.) Gigi has only occasionally made a play for food around the house, mostly when bored, though be aware that she is very capable of thrusting so strongly with her tiny legs that she can make it up to a dining room table! This only happened 1-2 times but I have to share so no one loses their dinner unaware! She can also be an excellent guard dog as she is alert to noises outside and will bark back accordingly; as a result she would probably do better in a neighborhood or community with some space for quiet. We're still evaluating her around cats. Gender: Spayed Female Approx.
