Story
Derp was removed from a neglectful situation with several other dogs. They all had horrible demodectic mange and took quite some time to get cleared up. Derp still has some thin spots but I believe at this point he's reached his hair growth potential. This guy has the absolute best and most hilarious personality. He will have you cracking up constantly!

Story
Pip is an adorable bundle of cuteness! He is a perfect combination of . . . what? We're not sure but are guessing beagle, Frenchie, and/or pug. He's a perfect size, not too big, not too small, and with just enough of a smoosh face to make him irresistibly kissable -- one look and you will fall in love! Pip (even his name is adorable!) is good with dogs and good with kids. He's already learned sit, shake, drop it, and down. He is doing very well with his house training and is crate trained. He loves toys and loves to play fetch. Pip would love a playful doggy companion, but would probably be fine as an only dog as long as he got lots of play time and snuggle time. Story
Gouda is a playful puppy Like all pups his age, he is curious, friendly, and full of joy! He was rescued with his sibling and mom from a house that had too many animals....and now he is safe and ready for a forever home.

He is with a professional trainer who used to work here at Tracy's Paws and he now has down the basics! Please watch his video. He loves to explore, play with toys, and snuggle in your arms. In true Pug fashion, he’s clever and eager to learn. He would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and love. Gouda tested negative for Chagas but he is too young to be tested for heart worm. Heart worm testing is routinely done around 7-8 months old. Gouda is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Frederick, MD on August 22nd with approved application and confirmed adoption. His adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost. If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heart worm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate). Puppies are tested for Chagas at 16-20 weeks and Heart worm at 7-8 months. • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heart worm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular De-worming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance.

Story
Lyrica: 17 Pounds of Pure Love Lyrica is a curly‑tailed Puggle sweetie who steals hearts everywhere she goes. At just 17 pounds, she’s the perfect little companion. She is small enough to scoop up, big enough to fill your life with joy. Her expressive eyes and gentle nature make her impossible not to adore. Rescued by a private rescuer in the Rio Grande Valley, Lyrica has left her rough start behind and is ready for a brighter future. She’s wonderful with other dogs and loves being part of the action, whether that’s playtime, cuddle time, or simply hanging out by your side. Lyrica is heart worm positive, but don’t let that scare you — she will be fully treated before adoption, and she’s expected to do beautifully. What she needs now is a family who will give her the love and stability she’s always deserved. If you’re looking for a small, loving, curly‑tailed companion who’s ready for her forever home, Lyrica is waiting to meet you. Story
Primrose, Princeton and Percival's mom was abandoned at a home when her previous owners moved out. She was left out on a chain to fend for herself. Luckily the neighbors realized she had been left behind and took her in. She was in horrible physical condition and pregnant by to neighborhood stray (a black lab) that would jump the fence when she was in heat. It was reported by the neighbors that these 2 had had multiple litters together but none of the puppies ever survived. The neighbors children fell in love with mom and they are keeping her but needed help rehoming her very last litter (we assisted in getting her spayed). These pups are the most laid back and chill group I have ever seen.

Story
Gigi is a loving, affectionate, and often cuddly dog who wants nothing more than to snuggle next to you all curled up in a ball and to be where you are at all times. She will thrive with a person or family who can give her a bit of room to roam, regular long walks, and attention. Gigi is so calm in her snuggly state that she has even sat in a ball up on someone’s desk, and a recliner or couch or bed or floor are all equally fine to her. Gigi does well with older children, say 6 and older. She has allowed herself to be dressed up to play with them. When around other dogs or outside she is an active explorer and can be very enthusiastic about where she wants to go (note: this translates to pulling that can be quite sudden or hard, so she should only be walked be someone experienced who can manage a sudden strong jerk on the leash.) Gigi has only occasionally made a play for food around the house, mostly when bored, though be aware that she is very capable of thrusting so strongly with her tiny legs that she can make it up to a dining room table! This only happened 1-2 times but I have to share so no one loses their dinner unaware! She can also be an excellent guard dog as she is alert to noises outside and will bark back accordingly; as a result she would probably do better in a neighborhood or community with some space for quiet. We're still evaluating her around cats. Gender: Spayed Female Approx. DOB:  8/9/2017 Weight: about 20 poundsPLEASE NOTE:  we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA.
